San Fernando Valley Academy C. D. C.

My daughter started at San Fernando Valley Academy just after she turned 2 and my son will be starting soon. We have been extremely happy here and this place feels like home for my children. The teachers are caring, creative and supportive. They have helped my daughter blossom into a strong, creative, and god loving child. She is always coming home with new facts and amazes people when she explains to them how the human heart works or sings them a new song she has learned. I wish we didn't have to leave for kindergarten and could stay a part of the CDC/preschool forever.

At SFVA you are family :) It is a small school with a big heart. My son came to this school in his 2nd grade, he is currently a 7th grader. My son is thriving not only academically but spiritually as well. If I need to speak with a teacher they are just a phone call away, they work side by side with me to ensure the success of my son. My son also plays many sports at SFVA like basketball, flag football and soccer. My son enjoys music and STEM class. If you are looking for a school that will push them academically, grow spiritually and mentally, and become productive citizens you have come to the right school.

I have been through it all. Public school, homeschool, and private school. I have had different experiences with teachers and students and I know something special when I find it. San Fernando Valley Academy is a diamond in the rough. It offers soooooo much more than other schools do. It has quality seasonal sports teams like volleyball, basketball, football, and soccer for ages as young as fourth grade! There is also a soccer shots program for preschool to second grade. As well as an AMAZING band and choir for seventh grade and up and a great beginning band for 5th-6th grade. It offers 6th, 7th, and 8th graders the chance to compete in a quality spelling bee for CASH PRIZES! The school has won many awards, which are all on display at the front office. The staff is also great. With its small student teacher ratios the teachers are always involved and very responsive. The education quality is A-MAZ-ING. Also, if your worried about making friends, this is the place to go. I enrolled here in sixth grade and I was very shy. However, I was welcomed right in. This does not feel like a school. It feels like a family. BONUS: this is also the cheapest school in the San Fernando valley and they DO NOT try to constantly milk you for your last penny like most other schools. This is a God loving school that allows you to show your faith in God. This school is five stars.
