Our local Teacher's union had a build a bed Saturday at our school. We made beds for some of our students who needed them the most. We were able to build 7 frames and give these kids a little something of their own. Our union donated all of the bedding along with Smith's Lumber of Ft. Covington providing all of the lumber for the beds, Flemming's Furniture of Malone was able to get us the mattresses for each frame. We were able to help out several children who really needed it and it makes their day a little better at the end of the day when they go to sleep, a solid comfortable place to sleep and warm bedding too. Today was a very rewarding day.
I trust my kids are in good hands all day!! Theres great security! ! They enjoy seeing the school cop and the D.A.R.E officer!! And my kids always say they had a good day!! They help my children with special needs too!!!! And they are awesome with the transitions between grades! Theres amazing guidence for kids to advance! SRCS is an amazing school; k-12+!!
