My daughter went there for preschool and Pre-K! We had such a great experience! The communication is great and the teachers are wonderful and so caring! This made her first time in school a wonderful experience!
We are not Lutheran but we sent our first child here for the social experience and we quickly found out he was getting a lot more. The staff are great with the kids, great with communicating with us (the parents), the classes are small enough that the kids are getting individual interaction time with the teachers, and the educational content is perfect for preparing the kids for the next grade. It's definitely a great place to get a great start for your kids.
My younger son is currently attending Salem Preschool in the three year old class, and we plan to send him next year for pre-K as well. Miss Pam and Miss Lisa are warm and friendly; they have a great balance of providing both structure and fun. I am impressed with the fine motor skills my son has learned such as cutting and writing his name independently, which they practice every day in class. My older son went to a different preschool and it was ok, but I can say without a doubt that my younger son is acquiring more Kindergarten readiness skills at Salem. Plus, the facilities are modern and clean with a great playground outside and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Salem Preschool!
Two of our three kids have gone to Salem Lutheran, the third will as soon as he is old enough! The teachers are great with the kids and they really get them ready for kindergarten. Visit them and see for yourself.
