Safe Haven Too

This pantry is providing a necessary service for the community. The staff are very professional and respectful.

Everyone is there so friendly and helpful. Are you gonna feel the spirit of God?

Took someone just this morning who needed help. Staff was extremely rude. Came through the drive through for some man named Ted to run up screaming at us that he never told us to come in. First off, I've never been there before so didn't know the procedures. And 2nd. Nobody was at the gate direction people to come in. So how was I suppose to know to wait. When that was explained he continued to scream and be rude. People already struggle asking for help but to be met with aggressive behavior from the people helping when you seek it out is uncalled for. Not to mention the food recieved for 2 people (1 adult 1 child) for 7 days wasn't even anything in there to make a single actual meal. Wouldn't waste your time unless you want to be screamed at..

This place is perfect. Last time I went they were closed but I think that's because it was probably after 3:30pm. It's been over a year since I got my last meal from them and they're truly helpful. It's kind of sweet that just everyday people will buy items from the grocery store to donate to places like this. Volunteered once at a different food bank in Arbutus and if I start going regularly again, like how they do every two weeks, I wouldn't mind volunteering once every other week for any place like this. Especially any place like this.

Keep doing what you are doing. Pastor Samuels and staff are doing a great job for the Lord. To God be the glory. They take time out of their schedule to be there even in the cold to help others. Fishes and Loaves has truly been a blessing to me in the time of need. May God continue to bless.
