We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Safari Kid! Both of my kids have thrived here—my older one recently graduated to kindergarten, and my younger one is still attending. We first discovered Safari Kid during a trip before moving from NYC. Even though it was after regular school hours, Ms. Lena was incredibly kind and accommodating. She welcomed us in, gave us a thorough tour, and took the time to explain everything about the program. That first impression stayed with us, and once we moved, we enrolled at Safari Kid. All of the teachers here are warm, patient, and attentive. The management team Ms. Noura and Ms. Lena always greet parents, which made me feel like family. Classroom teachers send daily photos and videos, which we really appreciate. It’s so nice to see what the kids are learning and how much fun they’re having. The school offers a great balance of educational activities and enrichment programs that keep the children engaged and growing. Most importantly, my daughter is safe, happy, and thriving every day. We’re so grateful to the entire Safari Kid team for creating such a nurturing and joyful environment. Highly recommend!
We have had an absolutely wonderful experience at Walnut Creek Safari Kid since my daughter first enrolled at the age of two. She is now in the afterschool program as she's in TK at Bancroft, and the quality of care remains exceptional. The entire community—from the children and families to the staff—is fantastic. Miss Noura and Miss Lena, the Director and Assistant Director, are truly exceptional leaders who genuinely love and advocate for the kids. Our daughter adores her teachers, and we feel so fortunate to have built a supportive community with the other families. This is more than just childcare; it’s a nurturing and engaging second home. My son has been attending Safari Kid for the past 18 months, and I couldn't be happier with his experience. From the moment he started, he has thrived, and it's clear the school creates a wonderfully nurturing and stimulating environment. Engaging Environment and Activities: One of the first things that impressed me was the small class sizes. This is a huge benefit, as it allows the dedicated staff to provide excellent oversight, especially for active, busy bodies like my son. The children receive the attention they need to stay safe and engaged throughout the day. The school offers a fantastic variety of activities that keeps both the kids and me engaged. Beyond the daily curriculum, my son especially enjoys the regular special visits, such as those from the local fire department and the pediatric dentist. Safari Kids has been our main daycare and safe place for our son since he was 1.5 years old, and we’ve been sending him there every day for full days for 3 years now. The teachers and caregivers at Safari Kids have taught him everything from good manners to geography and math, and have returned him well fed, rested and happy every single day, but what impresses me the most is how attentive they’ve been to my son’s individual development, even though they have many kids to take care of. The Safari Kids team knows my son well and genuinely cares for his well-being and development, even as far as working with us parents to achieve any goals that can support good emotional regulation and behavior. Now he’s started attending school in the school district and he does after school at the Treat Safari Kids. They pick him up and take him there which is a HUGE life saver for working parents like me. I can’t thank Ms Autumn, Ms Noura, and all the staff at SK enough for all the hard work they put into taking fantastic care of my son. I highly recommend both the Oak Grove and Treat schools from my personal experience.
Safari kids is a great School, it is very good they bring the kids outside they teaching skills are great and they even do a lot of fun activities so they don’t get bored. It’s been really great for My daughter she has been going to Safari kid for 2 years and she always is excited to go. Her teacher Ms. Lena has been her teacher for the past 2 years and she was also ways so nice and never was really mad and was really chill but enthusiastic. Ms. Lena was so nice to my daughter and she is very good teacher and my daughter is always talking about her, and it’s just Ms. Lena and every single teacher on the school campus is very nice and the school staffs we have never had a single problem because they always find a solution, honestly they never even had a problem anyways so this afterschool program is a easy 5 out of 5 stars no doubt about it.
