My two children went here for preschool and I would definitely recommend it. The teachers are caring and kind. My children always felt safe and had a lot of fun. They still speak highly about their time at this school.
Both our boys went here and have had most of the teachers! We have nothing but great things to say! If you’re looking for a caring preschool facility with loving teachers this is the place! We were so sad to move up to kindergarten. We wish we found this school sooner. The addition of the outside play and learning was such a bonus. My one son loved the chickens so much. I think when he first started, he was nervous, and it helped him be more comfortable to a new experience. We love Saddleback and will miss them dearly!
Unfortunately I went to the church next door 4x. I am homeless and filing a lawsuit against the county and state for the illegal seizure of my possessions. I asked Pastor Matt if I could sleep in their open space patio. The pastor did say it was ok but said he could not stand by his own actions. The school has called the police multiple times without warning me or ever communicating. Escorting someone off premises without warning is a violation of 603 California trespassing law. On top of that I have been stalked by this church (see vid below) who live out of their cars surveilling and recording me around their city.
I had 3 kids go to this school for 7 consecutive years and we absolutely loved it! The teachers are all so loving, and they do an amazing job at teaching their young students to socialize, follow rules, and develop skills at their academic level. They use a variety of different teaching approaches, including teacher instruction, circle time, one-on-one time with the teacher & student, sensory play, and so on. I love that this school is faith-based and they teach about the Bible, pray before meals, have weekly Chapel, and the students learn scriptures. They are an accredited Outdoor Classroom learning center, and the students have access to a multitude of outdoor educational tools and activities so that they learn while they play! They have chickens and bunnies, class parties & school-wide events for the big holidays (Easter, Fall/Harvest, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Independence Day), and they have a little concert that the kids sing in right before Christmas every year. We were so sad to have our last child graduate from this school because it was such a big part of our lives - a tight knit community that was hard to part with. All of our kids were Kindergarten-ready when they left SCC, and their new teachers were impressed with their writing abilities and how quickly they adapted to their new school. I highly recommend SCC for all preschool-aged children!!
