I could NOT understand the priest at all. Just because as Catholics we know or should know the order of Mass does not mean I don't want to understand what is being said, especially the homily. Then, as we waited for mass to begin people were talking loudly to one another (no respect for the house of God). Not someplace I want to be a part of. The church I usually go to is very respectful, no loud talking EVER. People sit quietly and wait for mass to start. Thought I would give it a whirl and see what they are like, now I know I will be sticking with my usual church. If you like loud talking while you wait for mass, or people wearing masks (still 5 years after COVID), and priests with heavy accents then this is the church for you.
+JMJ Stopped in for a visit because I love visiting Catholic Churches. Rather modern in its architecture and arrangement of the interior of the Church, but still a lovely place of prayer and worship. As with other Catholic Churches, their parish bulletin gives details about parish involvement, within and outside of the Church building. There are lots of meeting rooms and a library. Being a former active member of the Legion of Mary (married or single lay men, women, youth working with their parish priest to be involved in an apostolate of spiritual works of mercy and a committed prayer life), I was glad to see the displays of faith-related materials. Very encouraging for anyone seeking (shyly) to learn more about the Catholic faith without actually having to interact with anyone ~ until they are ready, of course! Why would anyone visit a Catholic Church unless they are seeking for spiritual nourishment?
