My children have been attending the Co-op for the last 5 years. There is no better place than the Co-op for nursery- and preschool-aged children to have their first school experiences! The school environment is warm, nurturing, and caring led by highly experienced teachers and staff, many whom have been at school for decades. The children learn age-appropriate concepts and curriculum through thoughtfully crafted play, art, movement, cooking, STEAM, and other wonderful activities. They get to do fun, messy, creative projects that are at the same time challenging and stimulating. The teachers are especially incredible at teaching the children kindness and in guiding the children on how to treat one another and be socially adept! My children have graduated with a high sense of independence and a love of learning and nature! There is truly no better place than the Co-op!

The Co-op is such a special place. My son spent three years at the Co-op and was definitely prepared for kindergarten. My daughter is finishing her last year at the Co-op and we are all so sad to be leaving. It has been our home away from home for many years. The teachers are amazing. They create a play-based curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and driven by students' interests. As a parent, the Co-op has been a wonderful experience for me as well. Participating in the classroom on special days has made me a better parent and given me a new perspective on my children. I have also enjoyed being on committees and have made many friends through the Co-op.

We have been really impressed with the Roslyn Trinity Coop, especially as our children's first school experience emerging from the pandemic. We had seen other preschools and well this just felt like home. We had started classes at the Coop with Saturday classes, which were a great introduction to the Roslyn Coop. We’d heard great things and now we got to experience them firsthand. Our children have progressed through multiple grade levels at Roslyn Trinity, and we have found all of the teachers to be exceptionally attentive and nurturing. At the same time, the teachers effectively encourage independent thinking skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and individually. One of the most special parts of the school is the participation day. You can visit your child’s classroom and experience a day with them. It really is something I miss with my eldest now in grade school. Not only do you get to spend time with your child and the rest of the children, but you also learn so much more from the way the teachers speak, how they encourage learning and ways to better your parenting. You get so much that you take away and apply to your everyday life. There are also enrichment programs offering different subjects such as cooking, STEAM, gardening and movement, allowing your child to stay at school for longer and our daughter absolutely loved these. Overall, the Roslyn Trinity Coop has exceeded our expectations. I really cannot say enough great things. The warmness of the school environment, the encouragement of play and exploration, as well as the beyond wonderful teaching, all help aid the children to learn and develop to their fullest potential. Any family would be fortunate to have their children attend such an outstanding learning institution.

As a longstanding member of the Port Washington community who has ushered three children through a few different nursery schools, I am truly blown away by all that Roslyn COOP offers. Teacher turnover is not an issue, as nearly all of their teachers have been employed there for decades. Likewise, I've never before experienced the love, attention and expertise shown by every administrator, teacher and support staff person at the school. The facility is safe, classrooms are well equipped with everything you'd expect to see in a nursery school classroom and more, and the play spaces (indoor and outdoor playgrounds) truly allow the kids to play and use their imaginations to the fullest. For working parents, the school day can be extended from 8:30 am to 3 pm. The cooperative aspect of the school is not at all intimidating for fulltime working parents, and offers a unique and very special glimpse into the life of your child when they're at school.

We have been thrilled with our decision to enroll our son at the Co-op as he has truly thrived at this amazing school. The teachers and staff are all exceptional and he is so happy to go to school everyday. The school environment is nurturing, the children enjoy fascinating projects, and the teachers truly care and bring out the best in each child. I highly recommend the Co-op to any parent!
