From the moment that I dropped off our 8 month old son at Rosemount for the first time, I have had the comfort of knowing that he's at the best place. His teachers are excellent and it’s evident that every staff member is dedicated to caring for the children of Rosemount. But what makes Rosemount unique—and irreplaceable—is the sense of mission that pervades its culture: Rosemount is home to children from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds, in a bilingual environment, and it ensures that every child who walks through its doors has the best start. Rosemount is a sanctuary. Rosemount provides incredible education and community for a broad range of residents in DC, across the cultural, language, socioeconomic, racial, and ethnic spectrums. We cherish the education our children receive and the community they are apart of. The teachers and administrative staff are committed and wonderful. We had an incredible experience at Rosemount. My son loved his teachers, his fellow classmates and the beautiful facility. He had an amazing time and was so proud of himself when he graduated preschool. We loved the administrators and teachers as well- they showed kindness to everyone that came to the facility. I could not recommend this place more!
We have two kids who attend Rosemount and come out smiling and excited every day. The teachers are extremely caring and kind and really get to know our kids. We love that Rosemount serves a diverse group of students and that it has been a neighborhood institution for so long that some of our kids friends have parents who went to Rosemount when they were kids.
Rosemount is a truly special place. It provides high quality, loving early childhood care and PreK for an unbelievably diverse community. it's a national model for head start programs and has been for over 50 years. Teachers and staff are remarkable as is the community. We have two kids there and couldn’t recommend it more highly. It’s a staple in our community and DC.
