So impressed. Being a new mom, I was worried about which preschool to go to. They did not disappoint. My son attended the school from ages 4-5. 1 1/2 years and would have completed 2 years if quarantine had not happened. My son has wished, a few times, he could go back during this time at home (and we are very close & I do a variety of things with him). So it shows how much he enjoys it too. PLUS, I was worried about what they ate (when we first started going there). I have been shocked at the things my child will try at school & then won’t eat it at home. 😂 Cucumbers are on that list. He now he eats apples with the skins, previously only without. Melody makes sure the kids get a variety of food. I like that. I think that is such an important part of the work they do too.
A+ Vintage preschool. Awesome. Can't say enough good things. My youngest attended here at first just out of convenience. I had heard great reviews from neighbors and decided to give it a try and it is just the best place. (My older daughter was going to school across town and just needed my little one close and walking distance). They really know how to work with kids here. My daughter learned basics skills in the daily art project and lots of social skills and manners. They sing songs and get read stories. I love it when she says things like "Would you be a dear and ....?" We started off just with two half days and just kept adding more and more to her schedule because she just really enjoyed it here. By the end she was scheduled five full days per week but it was Ok because I knew Melody is very flexible about changes in schedule with a little notice, no problem. Thank you for teaching her to play. Playing is learning too. The final year, they learned a letter a week and at the end finish an alphabet book. This really gets kids ready for school.
Our 4 year old has been going here for over a year and I don't have enough good things to say about it. Melody, Theresa and Sherrie are such a joy. My son loves going here. It's kind of old school, but I love the structure they provide for my son. Really affordable as well. A++
