We absolutely love Roots & Wings and highly recommend the director, her staff and the home/facility of the school. Our son has been attending full-time for 1.5 yrs. Major wins for us: - The director Sherri is an amazing communicator and genuinely makes our son feel welcome everyday. - Teachers are AMAZING, too and able to make their own curriculum based on each student’s interests. - Curriculum is fun, engaging and enriching! - Communication tool use of Brightwheel keeps us updated throughout the day w pics, updates and lessons updates. (Our previous pre-k school gave hardly any updates) - Other noteworthy perks: wholesome snacks are provided, school is so homey and super clean always, fun/educational field trips involving parents, teachers get breaks (which is impt!) so school is only closed a total of a couple of wks and is full-time year round (must for us w both parents working)
My daughter has been at R&W for about 1 year. She is flourishing! The teachers are loving and firm; the curriculum is emergent and adaptive to the students' needs. My daughter loves being there, and I love all the wonderful, enriching activities.
Amazing school and teacher. They give detailed lesson plans and really care about the kids!
