What Parents Say
This facility appears to be a community recreation center rather than a daycare, based on review content. Reviews consistently praise the clean facility, friendly and helpful staff, affordable pricing, and family-friendly amenities including gym equipment, sports courts, and children's play areas.
This community is very clean and the staff are very polite and helpful. Visitors can purchase day pass at the front desk. Bathroom has lockers inside and locks can be checked out at the front desk. There is an indoor track along with all sorts of exercise equipment. There are basketball courts inside and two pickle ball courts outside. Good place for exercise.
Review for Kahle Park Kahle Park is a quaint little spot that serves its purpose as a community gathering place, but it's important to have the right expectations when visiting. The park features a soccer and softball field, making it a nice venue for local sports, but if you're looking for a solid tubing or sledding experience, you might want to look elsewhere. As a small park, Kahle doesn't offer the hills or terrain you’d typically seek for a fun day of sledding or tubing. I can’t stress enough that if you’re hoping to have a thrilling downhill experience, you will likely be disappointed here. The area is more suited for a leisurely outing rather than an adrenaline-packed adventure. On the plus side, the park does have a small play area for children, which is a great spot for little ones to enjoy some snow play under parental supervision. The restrooms are also a convenient feature, and the ample parking makes it easy to access the park without any hassle. Kahle Park is ideal for a quick trip to walk your dog or let your kids enjoy a bit of snow play, but if you're specifically looking for tubing or sledding, I recommend seeking out a park with more suitable hills. Overall, it's a pleasant community park for casual outings, just not the best choice for winter sports enthusiasts.
NOT for families. Parents cannot exercise while kids play at the basketball courts. You can literally see your kids from the top and they won’t let you separate. Either the kids have fun or you, not both. Terribly run. I’m sitting here waiting for my wife to finish working out, so then I can go upstairs and work out. What could be a 45 minute activity turns into a 2 1/2 hour activity because of their extreme supervision rules. LAME. Will never be back.
Solid recreation center. Front desk ladies were friendly contrary to other reviews. Gym equipment is a little worn but honestly not bad. They have basketball courts, a small bouldering wall, punching bags (body and speed), a kids area with foosball, weights and cardio equipment.
Such an amazing facility. Wish we had more areas like this in the Tahoe basin.
