Roosevelt A And B

This review is in reference to Nimco at Madison kidstop. She is rude and honestly not fit to be around children. Edmund was great and actually put effort into resolving concerns. However what ever he put in place would all be undone when he wasnt there and Nimco was. Like the fact that my kids coats, sweaters, hats and gloves were constantly misplaced or taken. This was happening because they piled the kids belongings all together. I had to ask my kids teachers to help me with the situation because Nimco refused to take it seriously. My oldest sons teacher would leave his things in his locker and my youngest teacher would go as far as going into kidstop and taking Alex things and putting them in his locker. Before we got to this point Nimco agreed to a plan of putting the kids things in there backpack but never did it. She would act annoyed when things went "missing"and wouldnt put any effort into helping find them. Both of my children told me that she picks on my youngest child. She never has a conversation with you about your kids day and only talks to you if there is an issue. She doesn't address injuries or marks left on your children and doesn't have the patience to work with kids! Only when she was there was my sons night overly emotional. Often times My youngest would be at the front door when I got there, not in eyesight of staff which is very unsafe for him. My son is special needs but also has been to daycares for the last 2 years with no issues.On days that she was there my sons nights would be rough and emotional. Something just didn't feel right! I emailed Nikki and voiced my concerns, her response didn't speak at all on the multiple scratches on his face. Which was my biggest concern and I would have hoped would have been hers to. So I called her and still no answers. I told her I wanted to withdraw both boys and asked if I could still get an answer to the marks on his face after she spoke with staff. She had Edmund call me and he said that Nimco said that my son did not complain about scratches nor did she see them. There's no way anyone didn't see them as they were quite obvious.

Absolutely terrifying place to send your children. Management and directors are disrespectful when bringing concerns of children not being supervised and discriminating children. “If you don’t like our services, don’t utilize them” coming from the director. My child was bullied and picked on by staff and other children. Kids are bored out of their minds being yelled at on a daily basis. No structure or supervision. My child complained multiple times the staff scream and yell at the children. My child was able to disappear for a half an hour (where were the staff?) with no one noticing, however he got written up for that. I myself have pulled my children from here along with others I know that attended.

My children attended Kennedy kidstop 2016-2017 and enjoyed it very much. This year the staff has changed and is much less organized. Furthermore, the staff that answers the phone at the parent organization, Boys and Girls Club of Central Minnesota, are rather rude and unwilling to answer questions. Especially questions relating to payments. Overall the entire organization can use some customer service training and better skills when interacting with customers.

The Boys & Girls Club has always provided a safe, fun place for my kids when they are not at school or in activities. We love the staff and the programming. Thank you for all you do!

i love being at the club, its a fun place to be with your friends, and have free time i can work on my basketball skills, and soccer skill. the staff are great and they try their best!
