What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Rocky Branch Academy (now BBMA) for its attentive leadership, warm and caring staff, and balanced curriculum combining academics with social-emotional development. The facility maintains strong communication with parents and creates an environment where children feel safe and happy to attend. Multiple families have had children enrolled for several years and express high confidence in the school's quality care.
BBMA leadership is always very attentive to the important details (staff, operations, communication, curriculum, and events). They work very hard to be consistent with all of those facets of the school, making the experience from both the kids’ and the parents’ perspective enjoyable.
The hands-on learning activities and small group instruction made the biggest difference for my child. The way the curriculum balanced academics with social-emotional development helped build both confidence and curiosity.
Our babies have attended BBMA the past 1.5 years and we have nothing but good things to say! Teachers always put babies/kids first and communication from leadership is always clear.
Very warm, loving teachers, security measures in place; my son loves the adults at his school & is happy to go!
It really saddens me to leave this review. However, I believe if you’re thinking about leaving your child here, you should know the following. When I enrolled my daughter in this daycare I was told parents are not allowed to view their video surveillance UNLESS an incident happens. If that was the case we are more than welcome to request that footage to watch it. This IS NOT THE CASE. Fast forward to today an incident occurred. My daughter busted her lip while playing. At first I was very understanding of the whole incident. (She’s two at the end of the day) Although, I did want to watch the footage to make sure there was no ill intent involved. I was denied that right. I was told by the administrator Christy that her superiors needed to see it first and THEN they can determine if I can gain access to it. I want to emphasize that my intention was not to be difficult, but rather to express my worry as a mother. I was deeply distressed by the situation, and I believe my emotional state reflected my genuine concern for my daughter's well-being. I believe the administrator could have handled the situation more empathetically. I was already distressed, and her repeated insistence that I could not see the video without acknowledging my concerns was upsetting. Denying me that right is concerning and raises questions about the transparency of their policies. I hope they consider reviewing their policies and are more transparent with their polices as well.
