We have attended Rock of Ages Lutheran Church for 6 years. In this time, all members of our family have found a place both the serve, be encouraged to grow in our faith and as people. The church offers worship weekly on Sunday both in the morning and a vespers service in the evening as well as additional services during advent and lent. We have also participate in various Sunday School and Bible classes.
I've been part of this church family my whole life—starting in preschool and now watching my own children grow up here has been a beautiful, full-circle experience. This church has always been a place of love, support, and spiritual growth. The community is welcoming and genuinely caring, and the leadership is inspiring and grounded in faith. From Sunday services to youth programs, music, and outreach, there's something here for every stage of life. I'm so grateful for the strong foundation this church gave me, and even more thankful that my kids are now experiencing the same.
I have been a member at ROA for about 3 1/2 years, and have found the best church home a family could ask for. Since day one, every one has been warm and welcoming of my little family. From setting up a meal train when my second child was born, to helping me with rides for my son to school when our car was out; everyone has showed me the love of Jesus. Our Faith has only grown stronger, and we are truly blessed with a family in the congregation. Our son attends the preschool, and I can confidently drop him off knowing he is loved and cared for. The curriculum not only prepares children for kindergarten through academics, but has a heavy focus on the love of Jesus. Each teacher is attentive and cares deeply for the children. My son loves going to school, and has made some great friends.
When we were searching for a preschool for our daughter, we had a very specific set of values and expectations in mind. With so much variation in educational approaches today, it was important for us to ensure the environment aligned with what we believe is best for our child. During our visit, we asked detailed questions and took the time to observe everything carefully. We were incredibly impressed. Rock of Ages was everything we hoped for — the teachers are exceptional, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and we’re truly grateful to have found Rock of Ages. They are now offering Kindergarten as well!
I have been a member since 1986 and Rock of Ages is truly grounded in God's divine word and sacraments. It is a loving and accepting community of forgiven Christian believers with emphasis that we are all family in this fellowship. With joy we reach out to local community to share the good news of Jesus' Love.
