What Parents Say
Rochelle's Day Care Center receives mixed reviews. Positive reviews praise the director, staff, cleanliness, organization, and quality food, with parents noting their children are happy and well-cared for. Negative reviews cite unprofessional staff behavior, concerns about employee management, and frustration with pandemic policies.
Lovely director and staff, I would recommended this daycare to anyone. They helped me a lot as I didn’t have a good experience at all at our previous daycare. My 18m old girl loves it there. Every time I would go pick her up she did not want to leave. She was always happy there. The staff is great and when you get to know them they treat you like family. They are clean, well staffed and organized which is a big plus. The food they serve always smells like a restaurant when you walk in the door. Sadly I moved out of state but if i went back this is where my daughter would go back to. Thank you very much! - Brinley’s mom.
Thank you to everyone for their reviews. We have been striving to make improvements in the aftermath of a pandemic. As with every business (especially childcare and schools) we have had problems getting teachers since the pandemic hit. Luckily our lead teachers are all incredible, experienced staff with many years of working with and teaching children and are here to help new staff as they come in. Thankfully, we have had nothing but positive feedback from most of our parents so far. We will always listen to our parents concerns and suggestions if given the chance. We want all of our parents to be happy with the care their children receive here. Also, I would like to address the two negative reviews by Ms. Manuel and by Ms. McGarrity. We don't normally comment on these but in these two situations we feel we must explain. Ms. Manuel came in and her child was in our facility no longer than 20 minutes total before she picked him back up. Ms. Manuel herself was not in the daycare no longer than 2 to 3 minutes total. The teacher she referred to was waiting on her father to pick her up to take her to the emergency room due to a (non-contagious) medical issue. We are a small daycare and do not have a break room, and we did not feel it right to make her stand in the hallway in pain while waiting to be picked up. Another parent was in the office enrolling. No we didn't go into detail about what was going on with that staff member at the time with Ms. Manuel because we felt it was private, but perhaps it should have been explained more. We do sincerely apologize that it appeared unprofessional. Ms. McGarrity was upset with our Covid-19 quarantine/closure procedures and illness policy during the pandemic. We understand that it was a very frustrating time, especially for working parents; unfortunately, we had to follow the state regulations placed upon us during the pandemic. Thank goodness things are seeming to improve in that area and we no longer have to implement such strict quarantines/closures policies. Please visit our Facebook page for more information about our daycare. Thanks again to all our wonderful children and parents!
The director need to check her employees and not ultimately trust and believe word of mouth. It could be untrue or created for some other reason. With that being said, you running a business for profit regardless of how the funds are dispersed. One of your employees shoved my granddaughter directly in front of the parent really who would have ultermately got charged if she would have been shoved back.
Loved it there AT FIRST! if I could give it zero stars now I would!!
Unprofessional in my opinion.
