Robbin'S Nest Preschool

This is a way overdue review for the wonderful team at Robbin's Nest led by an amazing educator & leader, Ms. Rosalie. We were referred to Robbin's Nest by a neighbor for my younger one and we wish we'd found them earlier for my older one. Ms. Rosalie is extremely approachable, knowledgable, hands-on, and kind. She is involved in all activities the school has and jumps in any situations at the Nest to support teachers and children. She knows all the kids who attends the school by name and is always smiling and laughing with everyone who encounters her. We love my kid's teachers Ms. Sofia and Ms. Traci so very much. They are patient, loving, and just simply wonderful to and for my kid. They also address undesirable behaviors or interactions between or of children appropriately and immediately. Honestly, all the teachers we've interacted with at the Nest have been wonderful, to name a few, Ms. Bernadette, Ms. Pauline, and Ms. Angel have all been great. Ms. Michelle in the office has also been awesome. As parents, you'd also find comfort to know that we've never lost anything (if you have experienced losing water bottles, blankets, etc. you know...) or ever got an "oh, I wasn't here, you need to ask the afternoon/morning teacher" type of answer when we inquired about my kid's experience at school. They always provide clear communication and planning ahead. Our experience at the Nest has been only positive from day 1! I would 300% recommend them to anyone.

So happy I found this school! I’m a first time, slightly overprotective parent 😅 and I had sooo many concerns with my two year old starting school and making sure she was getting the right care. My daughter started here in September and drop offs were rough at the beginning especially since she only goes Tuesdays and Thursdays but Ms. Rosalie and Ms. Angel really helped us create a plan that made drop offs easier and easier, and now my daughter looks forward to going to school and is perfectly happy at every drop off. Both Ms Rosalie and Ms Angel have been extremely accommodating and helpful throughout this process and for that I am very grateful. Class sizes are pretty small here (which I love) I believe for 2 year olds the max amount of students is 8. There’s only 5 kids in my daughter’s class currently. Ms Angel is my daughter’s designated teacher and she is very attentive and sweet to the kids. I feel safe knowing my daughter is being closely watched while I’m away. My daughter has also learned such good manners during her time here. They also have very thought out and fun holiday events that parents get to participate in. I’ve toured a few of the other comparable preschools in the area and I definitely think this is the best one, especially for parents who are a little more anxious about their little ones starting school because of how open and transparent this school is to parents. My daughter attends Robbin's Nest and we love it! She's been in school for a full year now. Everyone on staff there is very nice. The teachers are great! I researched every school in the La Crescenta/La Canada area and this was the one! There is always someone in the office that answers the phone (which was not the case at many of the school I was looking into). At Robbin's Nest, you feel confident that your child is being taken care of when you're not around so you don't have to worry about them, which is a great feeling for a parent!
