Rising Stars

Choosing the right daycare is one of the hardest choices as a first time parent. You read and see all these horrific incidents happening at daycares, and you pray that never happens to your child. I’m the biggest worry wort there is. I researched and visited nearly every single home and child care facility in Annandale. I can say by far that Rising Stars Annandale is the best daycare and it doesn’t come close. They welcomed us by saying “ thanks for being an apart of the rising stars family “ and it truly is family like. My kid receives a lot of love, care, and yummy food. They preach they want to give kids love, confidence, self esteem and that their whole life they will be in school so they can learn at school and it really hit me. Giving the right tools is important. I don’t care if my child know ABCS at age 4, but I do care if they have confidence , self esteem , and love. I’m thankful I picked the right childcare for my families needs and Rising Stars will always have a special place in my heart.

My son has been at the Heritage campus since June 2025 and absolutely loves it there. All of his teachers are so kind and truly care about the children. The directors are very responsive and not afraid to step in and interact and assist if needed. The children always seem very happy and lively and my own son comes home in a laughing mood everyday. The curriculum is great and we are thankful for the learning and activities as well as the nourishing meals that is provided. Most of all, we trust Rising Stars with him to keep him safe and well.

My oldest child started attending Rising Stars Heritage Campus as an infant in 2019, and my youngest attends currently. We have been consistently happy with the love and care our children have received over the years. We are very grateful to be able to trust that they are safe and well cared for each day. Staff members have been willing to openly communicate and discuss any concerns that arise.

Rising Stars is like home to us. Both of my children have gone here since they were months old - a total of 7+ years. The teachers are incredibly patient, caring, and friendly; we have had mostly the same teachers for many years and never had anyone we didn't like. It's clear that they genuinely care about our kids' well being, and all work as a team to provide exceptional care. The admin staff is equally wonderful, we adore them all! They are flexible and willing to work with parents. The only issue we've ever had is that our kids aren't nappers, and the nap time is long... but the center has allowed them to stay awake during nap times when possible. The owners have also invested a ton back into the business over the years: they have grown their curriculum to include more enrichment activities, and they hold special events a few times a year (like splash days, petting zoo visitors, music fine). We are constantly grateful to have Rising Stars in our family's life.

My child has attended Rising Stars Heritage Campus for the last three years. She looks forward to going each morning, and we love seeing the various creative activities and projects she works on. We feel especially lucky to have had such loving and nurturing teachers in each classroom she has been in. As soon as you enter Rising Stars, the kindness and warmth of the staff is apparent, from the office staff to any teacher you pass. We have always had positive interactions and clear communication. We love all the small additional activities that make learning magical for kids, from splash pads and mystery readers to pajama days and even a little petting zoo!
