Right Steps Of Rittenhouse Square

My toddler has been attending Right Steps since he was 8 months old and he's loved it since day one. Every single employee has gone above and beyond to be so friendly and welcoming. So many teachers know his name and greet us warmly. It has helped with transitions between classrooms as he's aged up - he already knows so many friendly faces. His teachers (Letty, Mary in the infant classroom, and Vera, Wendy, Jasmine, Lora in the Toddler 1 and 2 rooms) are so warm, friendly, proactive, and have clearly made my toddler feel at ease, giving him cuddles, support, and the care needed for him to thrive. The teachers and director have quickly answered any questions and concerns that arise. I love that their facility includes a huge indoor play gym with play structure and they provide 3 meals and snacks. Updated: After a sudden staff exodus in Spring 2025, we decided to move daycares. Many of our favorite teachers left and significant issues arose due to (what I assume where) staffing shortages. There was a severe lack of communication moving forward and my son seemed to be struggling a lot with the lack of routine (lots of movement between classrooms, teachers, and students) and other changes.

We absolutely love this daycare! The staff are truly passionate about what they do, and it shows in the care and attention they give to each child. I especially enjoy the daily updates and pictures—they brighten my day and keep me connected to everything my daughter is learning and experiencing. The dedication to early education is outstanding. My child learned to read before turning 5, which is incredible! They also teach the children songs in different languages, like Spanish and Chinese, fostering both cultural awareness and language development. I couldn’t be happier with the nurturing and enriching environment they provide. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a place where their child will thrive!

We love this school and its teachers. They go above and beyond to make sure your child is safe and has the best learning experience. They provide engaging activities throughout the day and they are very attentive to each child’s personal needs. The idea of leaving our daughter with others from a very young age and for a long portion of the day was very stressful at first, but they quickly made us feel comfortable and we have been at Right Steps for almost 2 years now.

Our daughter has been with Right Steps since she was 4mo old going on 16 mo. The team at Right Steps really loves and cares for her like she is their own. It is easy to trust Right Steps with your little ones. Our daughter loves Mrs. Leti, Mrs. Mary, and Mrs. Wendy. They do a phenomenal job taking care of her. She is always happy to go to daycare and hang out with her friends and do all the activities. Denise the director does a phenomenal job managing everything and is extremely responsive to your concerns and needs. Of course all the other staff is super supportive as well. Our daughter has learned so much since starting school. Ultimately what makes this daycare so great is the staff.

We love this place, the teachers and staff love and care after our daughter like their own and I’m always impressed by their activities, tech usage (tadpoles app to record moments and daily notes) and low student to teacher ratios. This places gives me my adult wings back, and has meals included for the kids 10/10!
