Richmond County Family Ymca After School/Summer Camp Program

I've been attending this gym for almost 2 years all the staff is wonderful the trainers are very professional and helpful. The equipment is up to date and good for your body. They even have classes for aerobics and stretching. In the morning time they always offer coffee or sometimes tea and a small snack. And what's really great is they accept the food to help the homeless shelter and that's important to the community. I would recommend this gym to anyone they are always very welcoming to the newcomers and make you feel like everyone is family.

The Y has very friendly and helpful staff. The Y also offers a wide range of services, equipment and classes. It is very community oriented and I always know other patrons when I go.

This place is like family. Started here in 2022 and with diet and exercise have lost ~50 pounds and made great friends. I’m in Florida the other half of the year and have the same support there.

Staff is so friendly and welcoming! Patient and informative assistance. So many options available to get fit, flexible, lose weight or tone up, or have fun! The people at 9:00 pickle ball encouraged me and provided helpful guidance to enable me a true beginner to successfully participate! Come join us.

Today was my first day at the YMCA. I started with my first round of Smart Start and absolutely loved it. Terrie helped me initially with the tour of the YMCA and with the small details of the administrative portion - and was very personable! She helped seal the deal with her bright personality and an even brighter smile! My wellness coach is Penny, who I recommend to anyone new and wanting to get serious with their exercise routines or wellness training. She has loads of knowledge in her role and is quite the people person herself. Love the staff! The cleanliness of the facility is spectacular. Thank you all for everything to do for this community and I cannot wait to see what else is in store for me!
