Richardson Funeral Home on Mulberry Ave seems to lack professionalism, effective communication, understanding, and organizational skills. Moreover, I made a cash payment and have sent four emails and made several calls requesting documentation indicating the payment amount, my name, and the company's name and address and reason for payment. However, despite this simple request, Richardson Funeral Home staff have failed to return my call, reply back or provide me this information. Needless to say, I'm writing this review to make others aware of this particular matter in hopes that they don't have this experience. Again, I am requesting this information to be provided immediately for tax purposes, but regardless of the reason, what I am requesting is not unreasonable or a big ask. In addition to the fact that this should be a standard business protocol in regard to providing any customers with proof of payment that includes the customer or payees name, payment amount, reason for payment, and the name of the company, as well as the company's address. Furthermore, I'm writing this review because this is a serious matter to me no matter how insignificant Richardson Funeral Home perceive it to be. Lastly, I would appreciate it if someone would please take the time to show respect and demonstrate the company's ability to meet the need of a paying customer and send me the information I'm asking immediately. Also, it's important to note that I spoke with the secretary who informed me she would be sending the information, but three hours passed and I still hadn't received the information and didn't get an email response (lacking the requested information), until after I sent an email via their website. Disappointed, displeased, and disgusted, Shan
I am a hospice nurse who had to contact Richardson FH for the family. This was my first experience, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was told to not be surprised if some take hours to arrive. First, they were there within 40 minutes. But most importantly to me, was seeing the way they worked. It was with such ease, with respect for the deceased as well as the family. They moved in and out in such a non intrusive way that you almost didn't realize they had already removed, transported and loaded them. It was such an honor to witness their professionalism. If they take this much care while performing a task many don't think to handle with sensitivity and respect, I can only imagine the lengths they will take to provide the very best celebration of this person's life possible.
Everything that you would expect from a professional funeral.home service is what you would receive from the time you walk in Richardson Funeral Home until your loved one is peacefully laid to rest. The staff provides a cordial "family" atmosphere with an attitude of attentiveness, professionalism, and subject matter expertise from color-coordinating the coffin, clothing, and floral arrangements, to the final resting site. My family and I would like to personally thank Richardson Funeral Home for making us feel at home because for generations we have placed our faith and trust in them which they've never disappointed. Thank you again for such great service! The Family of Leroy Jones Jr.
The Richardson Funeral Home services were absolutely wonderful during and even after our burial process of our loved ones. They treated us with respect and have been available for all our needs. The Funeral director - Glancey Dyer has been more than attentive and responsive to every call and request. No requests has been too big or too small for the Richardson Funeral Home. We highly recommend taking your business to them, as we intend to continue to use their services for the future needs of our family. - The McCoy Family
Not a big fan of this funeral home, they blow the persons face up so big that they are unrecognizable, they have no features of what they looked like when they were alive. This is very disappointing and disheartening to me because I would like to see them as they were and not some blown up balloon. This is the only funeral home that I have seen this with and I've been to many others. I don't understand how they can't see that this person does not look like the same person that was brought in to them. Outside of this which is a big problem for me, they did okay with the services and for that I thank you.
