I attended my wife's Graduation ceremony here . She worked hard during covid with only online classes . And during a part of that time she was laid off as was most people . We walked in prospect park for exercise and sanity . She earned her bachelor degree and when the world opened we were invited to this joyous occasion. I was proud as I watched her walked down the aisle. She was a little reluctant but her uncle was able to convince her and me. All staff tried hard to make this special as it was !

Lovely campus—Brooklyn College is a hidden gem in Brooklyn! The architecture is stunning (those Gothic buildings and clock tower feel classic and grand), the quad is peaceful with green space and benches—perfect for studying or relaxing between classes. Great for arts/performing arts students with the Whitman Theater and music hall. Campus feels safe, diverse, and community-oriented—lots of events, good library, and easy subway access. Not as flashy as some schools, but solid value and chill atmosphere.

A nice traditional college campus, definitely loved it although some halls and rooms of the buildings definitely feel overlooked and poorly maintained. Can't tell when was the last renovation but it's nonetheless a beautiful campus and I love it quite a bit. The surrounding area makes it really easy for a quick bite to eat too and I had no trouble getting in.

December 2 — Brooklyn College BSA event. This was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with event security. Even with our RSVP confirmed, we were denied entry for no valid reason. The security staff’s behavior was completely unprofessional — rude, disrespectful, and outright insulting. They acted more like thugs than trained personnel. I’ve attended and performed at many events, including performing at last year’s show and participating in multiple BSA and outside events. I have NEVER been treated this badly anywhere. The way the Brooklyn College security team handled the situation was unacceptable and embarrassing for a CUNY institution. I genuinely hope the Brooklyn College security supervisor takes this seriously, because the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism we experienced should never happen to anyone. Until they fix their security management, I won’t feel comfortable attending or performing at their events again. Highly disappointing and completely unacceptable.

Beautiful campus and one of the oldest in Brooklyn. College has been renovated in the last two decades. It is very pleasant to walk around the beautiful campus. College has pipeline high school, which funnel students into 4 years of college.
