NOT A REVIEW FOR THE CENTER SINCE I HAVEN'T BEEN HERE FOR THE CENTER'S ACTIVITIES. Went here for our annual #UnCommonSchools Fall Festival. I thank them for housing us these past years. We held it indoors due to the windy weather yesterday. It went off with a bang. #LPOHCharter aka Leadership Prep Ocean Hill Charter is the blue ribbon award winning school that my scholar has attended since kindergarten now in 4th grade. We hold the festival after walking around the Brownsville section of Brooklyn to recruit scholars for the upcoming school year. Now currently accepting applications for 2019/2020 for kindergarten - 8th grade. 😁😁 please use my name as your referral. Very ambitious school teachers and warm environment that pushes OUR children to learn... This is the school that has the kids that WANT to learn to READ MORE books TO BUILD A BETTER TOMORROW.... Came here for Thanksgiving to do community service ! It was a great experience! Tons of food, raffles, people and volunteers! Great way to start the holiday season !
Not the same it's horrible, i dont even think housing own it any more. I wouldn't send my dog there if it was free. The staff and who ever runs housing needs to be fired !!!! They need new everything it's a mess !!! Housing needs to be shame got people living in there like they in a bandit & dirty old shelters !!!! It take housing a year to come fix they repairs, i remember years ago you go down to housing for repairs the maintenance man use to walk back with you be to you apartment after they lunch time . Housing is very sad & disturbing !!!!
Everything went well. I went to get my social security card and the security guards were very friendly and helpful to the degree that they could be. The wait was quick though it was early and it was not crowded. The lady at the booth was quick and efficient as as polite, friendly and helpful. It took maybe an hour and a half altogether.
I was there for a Community Meeting. Very active Community Center.
