Respite Care Of San Antonio

My granddaughter went to this daycare for 2 years and we absolutely loved it!!! I never once worried if she was being taking care of because all the teachers were so caring. And all the extra programs that were offered were such a help. Things like Parents Day Out gave us the break we needed. We were so sad we had to leave the city due to military obligations but we would definitely recommend this daycare to everyone. What a GREAT experience we really miss this place.

I have been working in daycare for 10 to 11 yrs, I have seen many horrifying things from staff being aggressive, abusive, using inappropriate language with or around kids. My son is currently 2 yrs old he has been to several daycares that have treated him horrible so I have been a stay at home mom. My son is being evaluated for Autism and non verbal this facility was recommended to me by my cousin they know the type of mother I am! (Crazy, over protective and put my child’s needs first) !!! This facility has calmed my nerves so much. The staff is freaking amazing and patient not just with my son but with all the kids! They are loving and just wonderful, caring people!!!! My son is so happy when I pick him up, he actually does art and the staff actually engage with the kids!!! I’m just in love with this facility. My child is SAFE there and that was my fear! They changed my mindset now I am able to leave my son without worrying about his safety!!!!! If I could give this facility 100 stars I would they deserve it!!!!!

My son was there about 3 weeks. I thought they would be able to help but they did not. The teachers seemed really nice. If your child has behaviors they do not know how to handle it. The child is better if they are nonverbal and need assistance with daily living.

This is such a wonderful organization and it has truly been a godsend for me and my family. The staff and director are incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. My sons always leave the center with smiles on their faces and an extra pep in their step. Not to mention the fact that within the first 3 days they have learned how to count to five, new shapes, and even better self-regulation. I can't thank this center enough for the amazing work they do. SO grateful to have a place that keeps my children safe, stimulated, and developing.

My son attended Respite Care since he was 5 months until he was 3 years old. We had a wonderful experience with such caring personnel. All the staff is great with the little and provide the support they need including all different needs. This might be of the few daycares were they offered day trips and the kiddos get exposure to different settings. While attending, my son was enrolled with ECI and therapists used to go the center and Respite always worked with them.
