Casual Saturday Christian worship. Edit. Changing my review to 1 Stars. I was a member of this church for several years. My father and stepmother were members for over 30 years. I gave hundreds of dollars to the church every month. I was married there, kids baptized their. I ushered along with by dad many times. My stepmother died and not a single member of the church reached out to me. No condolences, no how you doing, nothing. I called the church and asked the pastor if he knew that she had passed. he said that he did. I looked past the churches support of liberals causes , such as gun control, because I was raised as a Lutheran. I can't recommend this Church.
The staff and congregation made us feel at home from the first Sunday we visited. We love that the church is a teaching congregation with a Vicar, Pete Laborious makes sure our teens have fellowship AND Bible teaching, and Pastor Brighton preaches the Gospel. There is a wide variety of activities for all ages and three services each weekend. We are thankful for our church home!
I really enjoyed my first experience this Sunday at Mt. Calvary. I really enjoyed the Lutheran service and the people were all so sweet and helpful. I really felt God’s presence in this place. I left this service spiritually fulfilled with the word. This is a wonderful group of people!
Our family is fed the Word of God in so many ways at Mt. Calvary. I belong to a wonderful Ladies Bible study and also am involved in Lutheran Women Missionary League that assists those less fortunate. My Grandchildren love the children's ministry and music and are learning about Jesus love thru caring teachers! John and I cannot say enough about how happy we are with Mt. Calvary and want to share with others in the community who are looking for a good solid Christian church!
