What Parents Say
Ready 2 Learn Childcare Center receives mixed reviews ranging from 1-5 stars. While some parents praise the staff's friendliness, academic instruction, and communication, multiple parents report serious concerns including staff unprofessionalism, unexplained injuries to children, poor health protocol implementation, and overall lack of supervision and accountability.
My daughter did okay with this facility for the most part. I can appreciate that she learned a bit of sign language and seemed happy most days. One of my biggest pet peeves with the center is the amount of disfunction amongst the staff. Whenever I came in to get my daughter and sometimes when I dropped her off, there was always women speaking badly on the next employee, which was very unprofessional to me and did not support what I thought the overall outlook on the center should have been. Additionally, here and there my daughter would have unexplained scratches/ marks and there would be no incident report. My finally straw was when my daughter came home with an unexplained bruise on her arm; that there broke my heart and I knew she couldn't return after that. I think there needs to be development classes done there and some additional training in quite a few other areas.
My daughter been going there since she was a infant. One thing is thou when its nap time they be on there lap tops and watching things they shouldn't be watching around kids. They do talk about each other behind there backs. My daughter got into a fight there with a boy and he bit her cheeck they didn't call me. They do try to work with the kids on learning things and work with the parents for the most part. It's a decent daycare. I like they have cameras.
This place is over the top with their rules concerning children under 2 years of age. My son was not fairly given a chance at this center. He suffered an ear infection and was prescribed medicine. Returned with a doctors note and was still giving us flack about his nose running. They think that they're smart but needless to say they're far from it. For example the supervisor lady named Stephanie couldn't properly read the temperature that was given. It read 100.8 and she called and told me it was 108. Oh and then they spelled temperature wrong(tempature) and then lied and said my son nose had green mucus running. Well let's be real, mucus is not runny, snot runs. To tell a lie about a baby is just says a lot about this place. Just because a facility is ran by close friends and family members, this does not give them a right to do whatever they want. Of that is the case stop receiving monies from public funding. My son was here two weeks and still missed 3 paid days. I'm glad I learned early on. Education is key and clearly they lack it! Everyone knows this is the season for little children to have coughs, runny noses because they have a weaker immune system and some are stronger than bother.
Never had a real issue they take standard precautions in my daughter went there with the youngest at the time being 14 months old I don’t have anything bad to say. They communicated with me throughout the time my children attended there.
I would keep my children away from this place or take them them out immediately, my 10 month was enrolled but the staff are very rude , impatient and very demanding u can’t see anything that goes on inside this place but everytime I took my son I realize he cry hysterically just by hearing the staff voice they always call n complain n demand for us to bring more then the what he needs there , the staff are family n go by there rules not the states , I also notice a cut n bruise on my baby face once I got him back that’s enough for anyone to keep they baby away from these people .
