Reading World Academy

I am so happy with this daycare under the new ownership! As a mom with two sets of twins under the age of two, finding a safe and loving place for my children was very important. The staff here really knows how to care for my kids and meet their needs. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-organized. The new team is awesome, and I especially want to thank Ms. Carmen, who has been wonderful with my babies. She is patient, kind, and truly attentive to each of them. I feel comfortable leaving my little ones here, knowing they are in good hands. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional place for their children!

This location actually no stars While this daycare is in a convenient location, the overall experience has been disappointing and concerning. The inside of the facility is poorly maintained it looks like a place where kids should attend for free, not at the high rates they charge. The director seems completely unaware of daily operations, and communication with parents is nearly nonexistent. The two women who open in the mornings are often seen asleep and show clear attitude when approached—especially about payments. I was originally told the weekly fee was $150 cash, which I paid consistently for four months. Then out of nowhere, I was told I had a balance because the weekly rate was actually $240. No one ever informed me of this, and I was blindsided with a large balance that I shouldn’t be responsible for. What’s most upsetting is how they handle active children. Instead of engaging them in positive ways, they isolate or “cage” them in a separate area. No child should be treated like a problem just for having energy. That’s not quality childcare it’s neglect. I would not recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe, caring, and professional environment for their child. Please run especially from the 2 morning people that are supposed to open the doors at 7am they will roll their eyes and be pissed that they day has started, the older one with Cain gets really upset that she has to take a break from napping to get up to collect a payment I guess there just use to CAPS so If you are a cash paying parent that has to go to work please don't choose there. I haven’t had no problems I mean NONE since my little started attending. We love our Reading World family!

I became personal friends with Reading World when i came by to fix the roof. A family owned and operated business by a georgeous group of wonderful ppl. The kids were having the most fun i had seen in a day care and after getting to know the family i understood why. They are pure love.

If you're looking for a well rounded, friendly and inviting daycare/ afterschool center this is THE place. The director and management team of Reading World Academy are a true pleasure and a GEM for this community.
