Raising Stars Childcare

When searching for a daycare it was important to our family to find a center that allowed and prioritized active play and imagination! We found Raising Stars when we were expecting our first child. The staff were great about accommodating my child’s food allergies. A journey of learning that we navigated together as his first reaction was in the infant room. We had such a great experience that I never questioned where our second born would go. 7 years later we continue to be happy with the level care provided. It’s clear that the staff are diligent and care deeply about the kids. Most recently the school age group asked to perform a play and talent show. I adored the production and especially appreciated how the staff listened to the children and found ways to involve each child, letting them lead and shine in their own ways. After all these years, they still find new ways to raise the bar of child care in the most nurturing ways. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

The staff at Raising Star have been wonderful & my kids love going there each day. They get to spend so much time outside, exploring and just being kids! They are able to get messy and dirty & it’s encouraged! My son is a high energy boy who loves to explore & this is the perfect environment for him! I have had experience in all of their classrooms & honestly trust that my children are well cared for. They have handled questions or feedback promptly & are always open to collaboration on challenges in parenting. I appreciate that when there is something to explore or experience, the teachers are right there soaking it in with the kids every time I am there. Thank you to the teachers for getting dirty right along side of the kids!

Raising Stars has been a fantastic place for our sons! When searching for a new daycare, we kept coming back to Raising Stars because of the personal connection. The individual care provided for each child is similar to a smaller in-home daycare, with a solid curriculum for all ages and a variety of fun programs. The class sizes are small, and the teachers really care for each child’s growth and development. The Preschool program prepared our oldest son well for kindergarten, and our youngest is learning more every day! The curriculum gives the kids a wide variety of experiences and a solid foundation for their education. Both sons have loved being at Raising Stars!

We started in a home daycare because I said I would never have my child in a “center”, well that changed when my home daycare didn’t work out. We were referred to Raising Stars by a family member. It was the BEST decision we made for the care and education of our son. He was 2 when he started at Raising Stars and we immediately saw how much he needed and wanted this type of interaction and learning. He has grown and learned so much in the unbelievable care of the teachers. Again, it was the best decision we made to move to Raising Stars, we wish we would have started him sooner!

Being a single daddy of my now 3 1/2 year old AMAZING (Raising Stars has played a huge role in my being able to select that word), a little over two years ago I was faced with the impossible decision of having to place my tiny little vulnerable gift, in the hands and care of someone other than me or family due to a move and job change. After scrambling to interview and visit as many centers and in homes as possibly could in 3 days, after meeting the staff at Raising Stars, and observing how they are so committed to making each child feel as though they are still right at home safe and sound with their parents, there was no question in my mind, that this was the only place for my little man. However, as I mentioned previously, I was in the middle of changing homes, and making some changes on the job, so funds were, let's just say nearly non-existent. Enter Shawna Wilde, the owner of the center, after speaking with her by phone and e-mail, she decided that if Raising Stars Chilld Care, was where I wanted my son to be for three days a week, she was going to do everything in her power to make it happen. And she did just that, she committed to work with me to find a solution that worked for my little family as well as the center to get Mason started immediately. The very next day was the first of countless amazing days my son and I have experienced ever since we became part of the Raising Stars Family, and that is exactly what Raising Stars and their staff is to.my son and I. Other than his grandma, and a couple other family members my son has never seen a babysitter, other than one night when I had to you the Emergency room. I am probably ridiculously over protective of him, but Shawna and her staff provide me with the peace of mind, I require to be able to perform my job everyday! I could go on for days giving you one example after another of why I consider it to be such a blessing to have my son involved with such an amazing, well educated, nurturing group of staff and families that Shawna, Mary Beth, Carrie,Riley, Erin, Sally, etc.etc.etc (oops, I mean "miss" , in front of all those names, because manners and mutual respect are a couple of the core initiatives at the center), but we all have babies to get back too. It will be a sad day for our family, when Mason graduates from this family and moves on to Kindergarten.... Raising Stars Child Care Center is a must to check out, if you are looking for a safe environment for your own precious little Angels. Oh By the way ,the multiple playgrounds, and nature interactive play/learning areas are one of a kind! There is no place else my son will ever go for his preschool years!
