What Parents Say
Rainforest Learning Center receives consistently high praise from parents who highlight warm, engaged staff, strong teacher-child relationships, and creative curriculum focused on arts and performance. Parents report noticeable developmental progress in their children and appreciate the safe facility, themed activities, and clear communication from teachers.
We love every minute of being at this daycare! The place is always covered in new art from the kids, usually cycles out with themes often related to art shows/ performances. Our daughter has enjoyed being here and we've appreciated the service/ staff, especially compared to our old daycare nearby. We feel very safe with two doors and separate classrooms. However, there is a big common room for shared activities, which is great when the weather doesn't let the kids go outside. Can definitely tell you that the few negative reviews are trolls btw.
Moved to Rainforest about a month ago from another daycare in the neighborhood after having some bad experiences and its night and day difference. I am so impressed with the toddler program and genuinely trust her teachers Tatiana and Teah - they are sweet, friendly, and keep us informed. The communication is great. I love that they dont update the apps with tons of photos because they are paying attention and engaged with the kids but we do get updated with meals, diaper changes, and naps. I love the events and activities scheduled as well as the themes of the week and newsletters they put such hard work into maintaining. On pickup at the previous daycare my daughter used to sob crying when she saw us out of relief to go home and now she doesnt want to leave and embraces her teachers when we drop her off in the mornings. I can tell in just one month how much she has learned and seems so much more emotionally stable and thriving. I was hesitant about Rainforest because of some lower reviews but honestly so glad we made the switch.
We started our eldest here when he was an infant, and he has had a great experience in every classroom. Over the past nearly 3 years we have seen remarkable consistency with the staff, promoting assistant teachers from within, which is reassuring. It feels good knowing the staff there know your children and care about their well being and development. Our second is there now as an infant, and doing just as well. It is certainly expensive, but also in line with the other full time day care programs in the area. I also find the parent community to be warm and welcoming. In our experience when typical daycare issues arise, the staff are communicative and proactive to address solutions. I would recommend Rainforest to anyone in the area.
We started rainforest from a Montessori setting and I have to say I like the teaching methodology at rainforest as much as I like the Montessori approach. Also the teachers and assistants are all well informed about your kid. So I’m not worried about who’s in the class room and if they know what my kid needs. They have answered all my questions in details and provided ease and comfort during the transition from one school to another. I’m very grateful for the teachers in the 12-15months classroom. Also the director is lovely, she’s so kind and comforting, it feels like you are chatting with a friend.
If you are reading this review because you are thinking of sending your child here please keep going. Our daughter started attending Rainforest since she was 4 months old. There was never a moment that I doubted the teachers that were in charge of her care. Everyone always greeted us with a warm welcome at drop off and pick up. They always kept us up to date with her progress and when she was ready to move on to the next class. Whenever we picked her up she was always very happy. As time went by and she got older And could communicate more I started noticing all of the amazing things she knew and repeated that she had been learning. Definitely things that we had not touched on at home. All of the teachers that were in charge of her have been a huge part of her development and I am forever grateful for that. Every two weeks we received an update about what they were learning and it definitely showed when she was home. She loved running in and hugged everyone as she got to her room. We had to move and her last day was a few weeks ago. After looking at daycares where we currently live I can say with certainty that Rainforest is one of a kind. If you have the opportunity to send your kid, go for it. i wish I could have brought them with us to the suburbs!
