They are very friendly. The pastor there was very inviting. The love the way he show and explained everything he was talking about. The congregation were very friendly people. They made me feel very comfortable there. They also had a very nice coffee hour after church. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in Florida
Pastor Nathan has an amazing ability to speak directly to your heart during his sermon in a way that both calls you and inspires you. I’m just visiting but would want to be a member of this community if I lived here. Thank you all for the friendly welcome!
We have been attending the 10:00 AM service Jan & Feb last year and this year, as we are in this area as "snowbirds" from Kentucky. We are inspired by the messages of Pastor Tim and Pastor Nathan and find this to be a very welcoming church and the congregation is very dedicated to mission work locally and around the world.
My husband and I have attended the 9:30 traditional service twice since arriving in FL. The startling and disturbing discovery we've made is that this congregation shows no respect for the start of the service, more specifically, the church musician who plays the prelude. It should be understood that the service starts at the chiming of the bells and the prelude. The loud chatter continued thru the entire prelude, precluding any opportunity to meditate while listening to a beautifully played piece of classical music. There is plenty of time for chatting after the service, as I understand there is a nice coffee hour. This issue can and should be resolved. The reason we should all be going there is to worship . Social time should be prior to or after the service. Please address this. Respectfully, Debbie Harwood
Absolutely love this community! Everyone is very welcoming and there is a great emphasis on service both locally and globally. Both traditional and contemporary services offer a little something for everyone's worship styles.
