I usually don’t write reviews but I had to. Being a single mom, it was very hard to put my kids into daycare and go back to work. I have sent them to other places and they did not compare even close to this one. They go above and beyond for my children. They care so deeply and are passionate about what they do. Every holiday they have the kids make something for the parents, after a long day it’s really nice to see that. They are easy going and so forthcoming. They are down to earth and respectful while also keeping boundaries. They moved into a new building and the remodel is beautiful. The whole experience feels like I am sending them to a caring relatives house so when they moved I didn’t hesitate to drive further. If your kids attend school in the area they have a van to drive kids to school if you start work early in the morning, which was a life saver with my oldest. The true evidence I’m doing the right thing is when I pick my youngest up and she wants to hug her teacher and her friends when she leaves. She comes home happy and full of stories while also excited to come back in the mornings. Even through potty training, they handled everything so well and were so patient with her. Shes been attending for about 2 years now and I don’t plan on moving her until she starts school. There’s a lot of love that goes into what they do everyday and it’s not hard to tell. I’m so so thankful I found them when I did. I am forever grateful for the effect they have had on my children.

To whom it may concern, I write this with a heavy heart. I thought my child was safe and was treated right but was I wrong. After reading state regulations and laws I realized the rainbow connection daycare has been mistreating my child. It started when we decided to potty train our oldest and when I asked the daycare to help us because our child was ready. We decided to go with the training method of just starting with having him sit in the toilet so he could get use to the toilet and get comfortable. I asked the daycare to help us by sitting him on the potty every couple hours. They then proceeded to ignore my wishes as a parent and told me they wouldn’t do it because they wouldn’t “force” a kid to sit on the toilet. I tried to explain to them that I didn’t even care if he went just was trying to get him into a routine. They then proceeded to tell me that my child wasn’t ready even though he has shown all signs of being ready. The fact that they just didn’t want the inconvenience of taking the time out of there day to sit him on the toilet is a violation to state regulations. They wouldn’t cooperate with me as a parent at all. And they ignored my wishes as a parent. The director refused to help in anyway. Our GI specialist even agrees with our technique but that didn’t matter to her. She even started to ignore me and never responded even though as a director of the center she should be available to talk to parents when they have problems or concerns. There have even been times where I ask a question and she never responded or calls me even the next day to talk about the issues we have had. This is another violation of the state regulations. She wouldn’t address my concerns. She didn’t care that I was having issues. This was only the tip of the iceberg. My son has been having stomach issues and dietary issues and when we ask them to not feed him certain food and they tell me they can’t and I need a doctors note. Even thought in the state regulations and laws it states that if a parent OR doctor talks or sends a note they will cooperate. On top of it all there is either processed or frozen. Nothing is homemade. And it did not meet my child’s nutritional needs. They even decided it was ok to isolate my child from his group and make him stay in the nursery instead of letting be with his peers or go outside. They even were going to feed him in a high chair in the nursery instead of letting him sit with his age group. He is 3 years old. That didn’t matter to them. I tried to me understanding but after a week of them not trying and mistreating my child I couldn’t do it anymore. And again other violation on their part. Then after everything was said and done instead of the director talking with me she had an employee message me who was rude and didn’t care that they were mistreating my child I could not sit back anymore and let them mistreat my child. And who knows how many other kids they have mistreated. It is a sad day when I have to remove my child from the only daycare he knew and away from all his best friends. I really hope that the director gets looked into because she is not a good person to be in her position. Thank you for your time and reading about what I have gone through in the past couple weeks. I hope something is done about the mistreatment of my child. Again thank you for your time in reading about my experience at The Rainbow Connection Daycare.

Lead teacher of pre school program is non professional with those who have learning disabilities. Lead teacher of the pre school program singles kids out of group activities, examples going outside, pre school graduation, etc. it's pretty sad honestly. Would never recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a "pre school" or “daycare” for their little one. There are more professional and caring places out there to send your child. Also the toileting routine, close the door! Other parents, staff, anybody can see them - as it’s in the pick up area- give the children privacy. Environment is very dark…. Heavily water damaged ceilings above child pick up area. Outside sandbox/ play area is very overgrown, children can not play in it, if they are even given the opportunity to play outside. Speaking of playing outside maybe happens 1-3x the whole “school year.” Not a very fun, playful, happy, encouraging environment for little ones to thrive in. As stated above there are more professional, caring, and enriched environments other than this place, to send your children.

I grew up going to rainbow connection. I have went there for probably 8 years of my life. I had no problems with being there. The staff was always looking out for the children and putting best interests towards them. It may be a little over priced but we got outdoor time, watching a movie that we agree on, nap time if we didn’t watch a movie, breakfast lunch and snack was provided, there were dolls and legos and books and games to play. It made me a kid and sad to leave. I would love to work there for a couple hours to show kids that it is fun in new environments and to try things they’ve never had or done before.

This is the best childcare provider for my son! He has been coming here since he was 10 weeks old. He lights up when he sees the staff. It’s a blessing that I can focus on my work tasks knowing he is in good hands while I’m away. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality childcare!
