I've been hesitant about writing this review because I don't want to relive the anxiety and stress of the situation, but I feel it is necessary. I cried multiple times about the situation and having to pull my child from his familiar place without giving him time to cope. I broke the contract and pulled my son a week early, after I gave notice we were leaving, but my husband and I were extremely concerned about his safety and well-being and didn't want him there another day. Of course, the daycare will most-likely dispute that their care was sub-par and probably try to make me out to be ridiculous, as a defense mechanism, and deny deny deny. I don't care what they say to this review - the truth is important and it needs to be said. These are my experiences. My son is 2, and while in the "care" of the workers, he climbed onto a table and fell backwards hitting the back of his head from 3+ feet up, on TILE, and was on concussion watch for a few days. (regarding the employee who stated in her retort, that they don't have 3 foot tall tables - I never said the table was 3 feet tall; he was STANDING on the table and fell, which made it a higher fall.) I have picked him up on multiple occasions where at least 2-3 children were actively climbing on tables, and it seemed like there were not enough workers to ensure their safety. (my opinion) We had an issue where my son was having medical concerns, and I needed to provide updates to his pediatrician, so I asked for good communication on eating, behavior, bowel movements, etc. The director made it seem like it wasn't a problem, and was happy to help. When I didn't receive communication and called to question the accuracy of the daycare app entries (which have always been few and far between) she said she would have a worker message me to confirm. I received screenshots from another worker at the daycare showing the director talking about me, saying, "Grr I hate her." and "she thinks he's dying, you know." Which was not the case, I just needed to relay info to his Dr. That was my final straw, that led us to decide to pull him. Funny enough, after I pulled him, all of my notification and message history on the app was deleted, and they proceeded to block me from their Facebook page. I also have screenshots where the director is communicating with her staff about relicensing, saying, “Less is more ladies, do not give any information she is not asking for. You will make it worse!” He was constantly coming home with scabs/wounds on his hips from diapers being too tight, and I started to feel like a nag, because I had to mention it so much. I was also signing incident reports multiple times a week, where he was getting hurt – probably from inattentive staff. All I know is that he isn’t having these incidents at his new daycare, and I am SO relieved. Diapers and wipes mysteriously vanished faster than they should have. I have spoken with multiple workers where they’ve said management would make them come in when they were sick. I dropped my son off one day, and his teacher barely had a voice. A person that previously worked at Rainbow Connection in Buckley told me when her child attended, they were always sick, because they would leave old food on the ground. There is so much I’m sure I am missing. Yes, there are some nice people there, but I am extremely disappointed in the management because if they won’t advocate for your child, then who will? I believe this company should be reported to the CDC, and also have a thorough investigation with how things are run. Now I’m debating fighting the collection agency they sent my last week of billing to (after only giving me one statement) or just sucking it up and paying it. Parents, beware. Cheaper is NOT always better, especially for your children; and I hope this helps other parents.

My son has gone here since January of 2022. He started as a fulltime 3 year old and is now part time as he is in Kindergarten. When we first started some of the newer pre-k staff were not great but those ones were quickly weeded out. Everyone has always been great there and our son has done well. There was a big shake up of staff replacement and new programming being implemented about a year ago ( 2024). The entire experience as a parent and seeing the change that happened makes me even more confident and happy to take my son to Rainbow Connection.

I brought our 9 year old autistic grandson, communicating the area they needed to look out for ...they kicked him out in 3 days. I feel current managment should be educated for all kids but sadly that is not the case. If they would have helped him with routine he would have followed...just like school. Please read reviews ...the management should be ashamed and educated.

Our kid has been going to Rainbow Connection for almost 2 years. We went from a private, in home daycare and were worried about moving him to a larger daycare. Turns out there was nothing to worry about! The teams has been great and our kid loves it! He’s doing better at Rainbow than he was at his previous daycare. Sarah, the manager always goes above and beyond to communicate and take care of our family- we really appreciate it!

Dear Brenda L & staff who don’t tip or tip poorly, As a delivery driver, I want to shed light on the impact of tipping—or lack thereof. Our earnings often hinge on tips, as we typically receive only $2-3 per order, regardless of the delivery’s complexity. When customers choose not to tip, it directly affects our livelihood. We’re less likely to prioritize non-tippers or those who consistently tip poorly. I hope that customers recognize the value of tipping. By doing so, we can continue providing efficient service and taking care of each other. Appreciation for our hard work goes a long way! The 2 screenshots are from today but it was offered to me 40 minutes apart. I could have delivered it within a reasonable time but seeing as this is a continuous thing from Brenda I would rather not service those who dont care about drivers.
