Rainbow Child Development Center-Okemos

Okemos KinderCare is an amazing daycare center. I have had such an amazing experience. As a first time mom I was super nervous to send my baby to any daycare. The facility manager was so helpful in answering all of my questions and with being a first time mom there were many questions before he was born. She was so supportive and understood being nervous. Before we started and after starting she continued to tell us we were doing a great job as parents, which is definitely what all new moms need sometimes. Throughout our time there we continued to ask questions through the app and the director was super responsive. Once 3 month old got into the classroom the teachers in the infant room were amazing. They were super attentive to Lucas and helped him through the transition between being home with me and being at a new place for the day. They sent many pictures throughout the day to give updates on what he is up to and how he is doing. There is a continuous feed throughout the day of all his diapers, feedings, and naps. They do a phenomenal job staying on his feeding schedule and changing him regularly to keeps his skin looking good! Every time I would drop my son off we were greeted with smiles and they always greeted my son by his name. This made us feel even more comfortable! They sent many pictures of our son working on developmental milestones while we were at work. His tummy time improved substantially while being at daycare! Overall, we have nothing but glowing reviews for this wonderful daycare center. They will take wonderful care of your children.

We are so grateful to have found KinderCare. The teachers are kind, trustworthy, and truly care for the children with loving eyes. They helped my son adjust so well to a new and unfamiliar environment. He absolutely loves going to school every day, and as a parent, that means the world to me.

My 1 year old daughter attended Okemos KinderCare for about 9 months. We have nothing but great things to say about this child care center. I noticed a positive change when Kristin became the new director. The staff is kind, and hard working. They gave my daughter and fun and nurturing place to go to every day. On National Compliment Day I would like to say thank you to the teachers and staff at KinderCare for providing a safe and nurturing environment for my baby to grow learn and thrive. We appreciate all the love, affection and parental guidance. Although my little one just recently started childcare for the first time, my heart is at ease, knowing that my baby is being cared for by loving, nurturing individuals.

I couldn’t imagine sending my son elsewhere! Not only does this center have hours that accommodate a healthcare worker’s schedule needs but they are unmatched! Our son started going there at 3 months old. He quickly bonded with Miss Gabby in the infant classroom because she was able to spend time with him given their low ratios. Once he was 13 months he moved up to mobile infants where Miss Sabrina and Miss Adrianna started working with him on things so that he would hit his developmental milestones! When Kristin and Cassie came in and took over we saw a huge change in the atmosphere and attitudes of staff! They both have done great jobs organizing events for the kids and their families like trunk or treat, painting flower pots, and spirit days!! Now our son must recently moved to the toddler classroom where he’s taken very much to Miss Sophia and Miss Jhala (sp?)!! He’s also made so many friends in each of his classrooms that he looks forward to seeing each day he goes! Thank you for everything you do for our children and our families Okemos KinderCare!
