What Parents Say
Rainbow Child Care Center receives largely positive feedback with most parents praising the teachers and welcoming atmosphere. However, some parents have experienced administrative issues including poor communication and unresponsiveness from management, as well as concerns about registration processes and fees.
I've always had a positive experience with this daycare, but over the past few months it's really stepped up even more. My daughter's teachers are wonderful and genuinely care about the kids. The new director has been amazing. He has really made an effort to get to know each child and their families, which makes everything feel more personal and welcoming. You can tell he is very involved and invested and keeping the center running smoothly. We've been very happy here and I feel confident my daughter is in great hands.
We had our daughter at Edwards Drive Kindercare from 6m-4y and our son from 4m-1.5y. We and our kids really loved the teachers and Mr. Elijah was always very professional, communicative and thoughtful. The teachers of all age groups got to watch our kids grow up and made it a point to get to know our kids. Always felt like our kids were loved and well cared for. Would recommend this daycare to anyone!
We toured the facility, and it seems like a great place to send your child to daycare. We were going to place our child on the waitlist, however, we had issues registering her and never received a response to remedy those issues. It also seems a bit outrageous to charge a $115 non-refundable fee for a waitlist spot with no guarantee that a spot will actually open up for your child. After two weeks of reaching out to remedy those issues with no response, we ultimately decided on another childcare facility.
*Edited 11/2020: The director that was mentioned below no longer works for this location. The new director (and assistant director) are truly trying to make improvements. Since they took over, I have had not one issue so I have adjusted my rating from a 3 to a 5 :) Original post: The teachers, most of them, are seriously wonderful! There’s really only one I have expressed concern about due to my child constantly coming home in soiled diapers and diaper rash. Management, however, is not so helpful. It takes multiple attempts to solve an issue because the director will promise to get back with you but rarely ever does. You have to follow up with her multiple times for a resolution. For example, there’s an issue with our online billing right now that we inquired about almost 2-weeks ago (we have followed up with once) and we still don’t have answers. Don’t get me wrong, she’s kind as can be, but she over-promises and under-delivers. Their phone lines and internet routinely go down and have been doing so since we started. There has been poor communication and excuse after excuse from management since my children started here almost one-year ago. I keep thinking that things will get better but now with Covid-19 I’m beginning to wonder if they’ll ever get organized. By “they” I mean leadership because again, almost all the teachers are fantastic and go above and beyond for these kiddos! This facility was previously a Rainbow Child Care location and was purchased by Kindercare in 2019.
Atmosphere here was very inviting very very clean kids were enjoying themselves parents walking in and out picking up kids seemed very pleased the director had a waiting list and she was also very kind I'm patient and want my newborn to be able to have the opportunity to go to the daycare I can say I was very very pleased with my tour and felt welcomed
