DO NOT SEND YOUR BABIES HERE!!! The “teachers” neglect the children here. My two babies at the time were 1 and 2. They got sent home with SEVEN INCIDENT REPORTS in the span of 5 weeks!!! I lost my job as well as any respect I had for this place. The amount of marks I found on my kids with the teachers not knowing anything happened is so sad! They came home with huge bite marks and I had to ask the manager to find the camera footage just to see how the teacher was across the playground with her back turned during 2 of these incidents. I would get there to pick up my infant, she was baking in the hot sun on BLACK SHREDDED TAR!!!!! DO NOT SEND YOUR BABIES HERE, Protect them!!! Every few weeks it crosses my mind and I can only think of the other poor babies attending this awful place. I will not stand down about this!!!
All the employees I have met from Rainbow Acres have been wonderful. They have proven to be caring and dedicated. Everything is clean and well taken care of inside and out. Rainbow Acres have their daycare classes grouped by age range to work on a variety of skills. There are even after-school programs to help families in Oak Harbor, PC, and Gibsonburg.
Great small business owned. Very clean. Compassionate and caring staff. Offers a lot of activities for the kids. The owner even comes to the classrooms and plays with kids. I can’t say enough how wonderful Rainbow Acres is and what the offer to the kids.
Rainbow acres is an amazing daycare! The staff are very friendly and welcoming! The daycares in all 3 locations are very clean and the kids are well taken care of! Highly recommend!!
My daughter comes home every time complaining that she is being bullied and treated meanly by one of the staffs children that also attends there when told about my child telling me she’s getting bullied it was blown off and said she will keep an eye on it but it is still happening. and then I’m being asked to send my daughter in different shoes “because the teacher is struggling to get her shoes on her” I put those shoes on her everyday she has an inch in front of her toes and I’m 9 months pregnant and get them on with no problem. Also homework never gets sent home for my child to complete and learn and when asked for it says she will get it together and sets a time for me to pick up and it’s never ready. My child genuinely does not like going here and that’s saying a lot bc my child loves school!
