My daughter has been enrolled at Lightbridge Academy since she was just six months old, and our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Danielle runs a tight ship—her leadership is both organized and compassionate, and it’s clear she truly cares about every child in her care. The teachers are consistently attentive, nurturing, and engaged, creating a warm and supportive environment that my daughter looks forward to each morning. Beyond just providing excellent care, Lightbridge places a strong emphasis on early education. Thanks to their dedicated focus on learning, my daughter—who will be starting kindergarten in a few short months—is already excelling in reading and other foundational skills. We are incredibly grateful to be part of the Lightbridge family and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a caring and academically enriching environment for their child.

This school is amazing! Awesome teachers. Great communication & program. My son has attended this school for the past 3 years, and it was great. The teachers exercised patience and care dealing with my son who has a speech delay. The cameras in every classroom were awesome as well. Great security system and policy in place. Parents, do NOT trust this daycare with your children. My son has been repeatedly bitten and even scratched since the start of the school year, This is not a one-time issue — it has happened multiple times, and the daycare has done nothing to stop it. Instead of holding the aggressor accountable, their “solution” was to remove my son from the classroom — punishing the victim while protecting the problem. Staffing is also dangerous: I witnessed 10 to 15 children in a classroom with only one teacher and no assistant, which is a complete violation of proper safety practices. When I raised concerns, the administration brushed it off with the excuse, “we meet state requirements.” Meeting minimum requirements is not the same as keeping kids safe. This center is unsafe, unaccountable, and negligent. If you value your child’s safety and well-being, look elsewhere

Lightbridge Acadmey of Mahwah is exceptional! As a parent, it’s never easy to trust your children with people you don’t know, but the entire staff here makes that transition feel natural and comforting from day one. They create such a warm, positive, and supportive environment that it genuinely feels like an extension of our family. The teachers go above and beyond—not only are they attentive and caring, but you can actually feel how much they love the children. They take time to get to know each child as an individual, and it shows in the way the kids are welcomed, encouraged, and nurtured every single day. It still amazes me that when we walk down the halls, EVERY teacher knows my sons name; even ones who I don't know their name! I also love that Lightbridge is always keeping things fun and fresh. Their themed events are adorable and so thoughtfully planned, and they’re constantly introducing new and innovative activities to keep the children engaged and excited to learn. Between the creative play, hands-on projects, and structured lessons, the curriculum is fantastic. My child comes home every day talking about something new they learned! If you’re looking for a daycare that combines a strong educational foundation with genuine warmth and community, Lightbridge Academy of Mahwah is the place. We are so grateful to have found it!

My older son started Lightbridge in 2018 and seeing the hardworking teachers doing such a phenomenal job, I enrolled my younger son to the same location. He loves his teachers and enjoys being part of Lightbridge family. All the staff at Mahwah location are very friendly and attend to all the kids so well, we have always had a positive experience at this location...😊
