Before settling on Premier Academy in Temple Terrace, we visited and compared at least 5 different daycares/preschools and have not regretted our choice for preschool and VPK. I highly recommend Premier Academy. Here are a few reasons that Premier shines... 1. Cool and caring administration and teachers - Ms. Amy, the Director, sets the environment with a positive, high-vibe energy. From the time my kid walks into the front door, Ms. Amy greets him with a smile and takes note of small details, whether it's commenting on a design of his shirt, new shoes, etc. My kid feels good and noticed. Others like Ms. Luz (who loves legos and greets us lovingly at the door), Ms. Christina (who has the brightest smile), and Ms. Shay (who gives silly nicknames and likes to joke) add to a fun and welcoming environment. A special shoutout to Ms. Maddy, Ms. Eliann, and Ms. Cathy who have been my kid's teachers. Ms. Maddy is great at coming up with activities for kids and seems to enjoy making the classroom a beautiful and magical learning environment. Ms. Eliann gives great hugs, is fun, loves to joke, and I've often seen her holding and hugging kids in her embrace to help them regulate their nervous system and their emotions. Ms. Cathy is one of the warmest, kindest, and patient teachers. She exudes a calm spirit that helps kids be themselves, feel safe, and explore. Ms. Cathy and Ms. Eliann have done a wonderful job at helping kids respect each other and learn how to collaborate together. Being an early-care and education teacher is one of the most important jobs that often doesn't receive enough financial recompensation and attention. The sector can also often have high turnover for a myriad of reasons, but it's clear that the Premier administration and teachers really care about kids and developing their minds, confidence, brains, and hearts. 2. The large backyard - It's huge! It has several playsets, trees, and a small garden, and no fake grass. It also has a small, covered area where the teachers can take the kids outside on a nice day. You will not find anything close to its size at other preschools/daycares in the area. The backyard almost feels like a park. The environment in which kids play is so important for them. In this backyard the kids have plenty of space to run, play, and be silly. The other reason we picked Premier is because compared to other places, the Premier day schedule gave kids more time outside, which has always been important to our family. 3. Activities - Beyond the day-to-day activities, there are plenty of activities the school puts on. For example, once a week, Happy Feet (soccer for young kids) comes to visit. Every year, the kids get talk to a fire fighter and explore a real-life firetruck that comes to campus, celebrate Read Across America with their parents, have fun at the Sneaker Ball, etc. You can explore their Instagram to get an idea of additional activities. If you're looking for a daycare/preschool/VPK place, I would recommend that you highly consider Premier and schedule a tour to find out more about it.

Alright, guys, if you want a school (not just a daycare) for your children where you know they will be looked after, they will learn, they will be taught to be curious, and they will have a safe, fun but structured environment, this is the place for you. We have a three year old and we tried two other very reputed day cares (I will not name names) and we were utterly disappointed till we moved our daughter to Premier. They run a tight tight ship here and we (and our daughter) Love it. She actually likes going to school. She learns. She loves her teachers. She has friends in class. She is growing and becoming a real independent human. And we know while we are at work all day, she has great people taking the most amazing care of her. Premier is everything we wanted, and I can’t recommend it enough. The staff are the BEST.

Every employee is so friendly, kind and genuinely interested in the well being of my baby. We’ve been to a few other daycares in the area and Premier is by far the best! My son absolutely loves it here and I’m confident that he is in great hands.

It’s funny how as soon as I posted my review you had a bunch of fabricated reviews followed after mine. & to top it all, you tried to have my review removed! Guess what? I will make sure it stays so parents are VERY aware of what my child endured. Still can’t answer for the nail mark & bruise on my son’s body can you? Edit: Amy emailed me asking me to take down my review! The audacity!! No, Amy, I will not be taking down my review until you explained to me how my child had a nail mark on his back & A bruise on his bottom on his first day there!! No one still can answer that!! My child was scared of all of you!! He is back at his original daycare and he has no problem with anybody. He loves it there.! I knew I should’ve put a hidden camera in my son’s teddy bear and sent him off there to see what was actually going on!! PARENTS BEWARE!! THIS PLACE IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS!! My son attended this school for a short 3 weeks. Within those 3 weeks, my son showed some concerning behaviors he NEVER did prior to staying here. On day 1 he had a nail mark on his back, along with a bruise that no one could the explain. I asked several times & they brushed it off as another student. Which, I have a very hard time believing. The lack of cameras in the class should’ve been the first red flag for me. & the 1st thing Amy mentioned, were if I saw the reviews, which can all be fabricated. My son did not want to ever go inside & he ran from all his teachers. I walked up to the classroom one day to Tina, what seemed like to be yelling at the kids, her face had attitude written all over it, & she switched up immediately once she realized I was standing there. My son started hitting himself in the mouth & that right there is what made me pull him out. I never laid a finger on my son & the fact that he was doing that, let me know that, it was learned behavior. Whether it was done on him or he watched it be done to another kid, I’m not sure. But something isn’t right about this place at all. My son attended daycare prior to this & was acclimated within 3 days, would go to his teachers. I’ve never seen my son, my littler 2yr old so traumatized in my life & I feel so horrible I let him endure that for 3 weeks. & before you say, you have no records of me since my name is Tori on here, I’m Victoria A. The mother of LPM. You should put 2 & 2 together just off the the initials.

Premier academy and their entire staff has been an absolute dream. I couldn’t ask for a better academy to trust your children to attend. They are extremely personable and love the kiddos as if they were their own, to the point where they attend celebrations you and your family may decide to invite them to. I’ve never encountered such a peaceful and out together daycare/Vpk program. And we’ve been to a few. I’m actually really sad this is my child’s final year. She’s blossomed so much and has made so many friends. The inside is absolutely impeccable. I mean CLEAN. It smells phenomenal. Their events are so family oriented and inclusive. And the play yard! THE PLAYYARD is everything. It’s huge. Maintained beautifully and they even have a garden the kids interact and help contribute to. It’s safe and secure and private. The snacks are from Whole Foods and it’s such a secure building. That’s was my main focus. And they have exceeded any expectations I’ve ever held for an academy. This is the one yall.
