What Parents Say
Pumpkin Patch Preschool receives mixed reviews with significant polarization. Multiple parents praise the staff's attentiveness, care, communication, and reasonable pricing, reporting happy children over extended enrollment periods. However, some parents report concerns about injury documentation, lack of communication about incidents, staff rudeness, and unprofessional handling of safety issues.
I was nervous putting my son into daycare at only 7 weeks, but I had to go back to work. The staff has been so good with him from day one and now he’s almost 3 months old and still doing well. They are so sweet with him and always make sure he has attention and extra cuddles. The girls in the baby room are wonderful and so kind ☺️
Our child went to Pumpkin patch from less than 1yo until it was time for kindergarten. We only had a few bumps during our long time there but we communicated the issues and things were resolved quickly. Our child loved it there and was always excited to go. Our child’s education was given a great head start as well.
My babies have gone here for several years now. We have had no issues at all. We love the teachers and staff. My babies are excited to go every day.
My granddaughter goes to Pumpkin Patch and she loves it there. She is happy when my daughter drops her off and happy when she picks her up. She has been other places where she cried being dropped off and was crying when picked up. It has been a relief to be someplace that genuinely cares about our grandchild! I cannot praise this place enough!
I have been taking my daughter (now 5) to the PPP for over two years now--I've never seen anything close to what these other reviewers are discussing. They have very attentive staff, they communicate any and all issues effectively with both the children and the parents, they have all their policies posted for the customers to read, and they do not charge an arm and a leg to do so. In fact, the more kids you have, the bigger discount you get. They also have military discount for those who aren't able to get into the CDC. Just like most daycares, if your child is exhibiting problematic behaviors or is a host to bacterial/viral infection, you will be asked to take your child home. Depending on the severity of the sickness, you might not be able to bring them back for a couple of days. This is inconvenient, but no different than most child care centers. The hours are conducive to working daytime shifts, and the meals they feed the children are relatively healthy. I have no major complaints about this preschool or its management, and I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
