What an awesome organization in Easton. They truly care about people in the community and give back so much. Their educational programs for adults and children are wonderful, their food bank helps so many families; highly recommend them if you need assistance in your life or if you’d like to get involved with a good cause. Lots of volunteer and sponsorship opportunities for partnership too, because their team is so personable and genuinely caring.
They run a good pantry for the needy. A good place to donate food.
If you are in need of information, resources, and/or support. Erin is the ONE! Access and information is a BIG barrier in most communities and Easton is no different. Only the people in the "know" stay connected to the available resources and that needs to change, which is why I gave them a 4. The 4 is only because more people need to know about them and they rarely answered the phone. I had to show up in person and luckily I did. Nevertheless, once I connected with Erin that barrier no longer existed for me. She was welcoming, patient, professional, engaging, supportive, inspiring and kept her word. This was wonderful to experience as a NJ implant to Easton. Now that I am connected, I hope to stay connected and I'm definitely spreading the word. Project of Easton has several programs and they helped me with securing a summer program for my 7yr old and for FREE when everything else was closed and VERY expensive. Check them out for GED classes, food pantry info, Sizzle summer and after school programs and more!
I have never felt more humiliated in my entire life ! These people have no idea how hard it is for some of us to swallow our pride and ask for help and you’re treated as if you’re a burden and you’re inconveniencing them ! Everyone has a different story and no one is on the same page ! You should not have staff working there that does not have compassion for people who are in bad situations because of loss of income or Covid !! They act like it’s coming out of their pocket ! I have paid taxes the last 29 years of my life and this is the first time I ever asked for help and I was never made to feel so belittled!! It’s a shame despite how much everyone is struggling if you go into this place expect to leave even more depressed and upset then you already were !
The Project of Easton, in my opinion, is the finest setting for sharing knowledge with exceptional individuals who are eager to assist us with our many needs, including GED, English classes, Citizenship classes, etc. God bless you all and thank you.
