What Parents Say
Prodigy Learning Center receives mostly positive reviews for its caring teachers, clean facility, engaging curriculum, and strong parent communication. However, concerns have been raised about administrative communication, parking management, and health/safety protocols regarding disease outbreak notifications.
I’m extremely disappointed with how this daycare handles health and safety. The entire center recently experienced a clear outbreak of Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease, yet parents were never informed. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time they’ve failed to communicate about contagious illnesses, and now my child keeps getting sick as a result. Illnesses can happen anywhere, but transparency is the bare minimum a daycare should provide. Parents deserve to know when there’s an outbreak so we can take precautions, monitor our children, and prevent the sickness from spreading even further. Instead, we’re left in the dark while our kids continue to cycle through the same preventable infections. Until the daycare takes communication and health protocols seriously, I cannot recommend it. Parents deserve honesty and better care for their children.
The teachers are kind, patient, and truly care about each child’s growth and happiness. My child has not only learned so much academically, but has also grown emotionally and socially. It’s amazing to see the excitement they have every morning to go to school! The communication from the staff is excellent they keep me informed and involved, which i really appreciate. The classroom is always clean, safe, and full of fun, engaging activities. Most importantly, I’ve seen my child become more confident, curious, and eager to learn.
Fantastic place for the children. My daughter loves it here and all of the children seem happy to be here. The teachers and staff are great! However, the parking situation is anxiety inducing. I wish they would do something about it. Even if they had someone directing traffic at drop off and pick up time. People are not considerate of others and will park wherever, often blocking traffic in the lot. There’s been times where I was the only one who parked between the lines in a designated parking spot. Edit: My child still loves it here, parking is still anxiety inducing, but communication could be much better. My child's teacher is great as far as communication but from the administrative staff. . .I don't know if they need to hire more administrative staff or not but something needs to be done asap. No parent should have to make numerous calls 3 months into the school year just to track down an accurate school calendar. Only to be given one that still isn't accurate. Also, some of the email communications seem harsh and unprofessional.
Sent our daughter to Prodigy starting in 2019 at 12 weeks old, through graduating to public kindergarten and have always been very happy with this daycare/school. We've always had a great experience with all of the teachers and administration, from the baby rooms up through Pre-K. The children spend lots of time outside playing compared to most other local daycares, the rates are good, flexibility of drop off and pickup is excellent, and our daughter has been well prepared for kindergarten. Always recommend Prodigy to others.
My son is in the Pre-K program and it is awesome. I see that he is thriving and learning. The teacher communication is good. They test the children and explain where they are and the goals they will help the child reach. Teacher Ms. Nicole and Ms. A will work with you with keeping your child on track. I feel they are professional and break daily routines down on tadpoles app. Above all I feel that my child is safe here. No daycare is perfect but there is nothing worth mentioning, They take proper precautions with COVID. I would recommend this school.
