From our very first call, we knew Primrose of West Lake Hills was different. We were transferring our daughter from a poorly run daycare (not associated with Primrose Schools), and it was such a relief to meet the caring staff and tour the welcoming environment. From day one, she was loved and nurtured by her teachers, and we watched her vocabulary and independence grow tremendously during her time there. We only transferred because a new location opened closer to our home, eliminating a 40-minute commute—otherwise, we would have happily stayed. We highly recommend Primrose of West Lake Hills!
We have two children at Primrose West Lake Hills, and our experience has been wonderful. The teachers and staff are caring, attentive, and really take the time to get to know each child. Both of our kids have grown so much socially and academically since starting here, and they look forward to going to school every day. The communication with parents is also excellent, which gives us peace of mind. We couldn’t be happier with the nurturing environment and the strong foundation the school is providing for our children. Highly recommend!
Primrose has been a wonderful experience from day one and I believe has benefitted our son's early development in so many ways. The staff and teachers are all wonderful, nice and attentive to all of not only our son's needs, but ours as well. It truly feels like a family atmosphere and the fact that my son runs into school each day says it all.
I had a very disappointing experience with Primrose Westlake and ultimately had to withdraw my son after only a short time. When I first toured the school, I specifically asked Bianca if we could send lunch from home. She told me yes, as long as it was healthy. After I paid the registration fee and enrolled my son, I later learned from the director, Anaya, that a doctor’s letter is required to send food from home. We had just moved to Texas and didn’t have a pediatrician yet, so my son was denied the food I packed and was given school lunch instead, which he barely ate. Then came nap time. I was told children nap from 1–3, but if they didn’t want to nap, they could quietly do other activities. In reality, when I picked my son up, the classroom was pitch dark. Even if a child didn’t nap, they were forced to stay in the dark with nothing to do. My son is afraid of the dark, so I had no choice but to pick him up at 1 p.m. But when I asked Bianca about adjusting tuition, she said it would still be full-day tuition regardless. Because of these miscommunications and misleading information at the tour, I requested a 2-week withdrawal notice instead of the standard 30 days. Anaya as the director could not resolve it, which was disappointing. Thankfully, I was eventually transferred to Chris Mabasa from the Bee Cave location, who was extremely professional, understanding, and immediately approved the 2-week notice. On top of this, the staff at Westlake showed very poor communication. Bianca rarely replied to emails, ignored multiple phone messages, and failed to provide clear, accurate information from the start. And to make matters worse, Celeste at the front desk was unwelcoming, she would give me attitude and eye me every time I walked into the building. For a school that parents are supposed to trust, this is unacceptable. I would not recommend this location due to the unprofessional staff, lack of communication, and overall unfriendly environment- Wafaa. K
My son has been going to Primrose since he was an infant. We love it there. Everyone is so friendly and there is always a constant open stream of communication. They prioritize childhood growth and education, and my child has grown in his confidence with each new class/teacher. Thank you to our Primrose family!
