Primrose School Of Riverwoods

I cannot recommend this daycare based on my experience. Communication with parents is extremely lacking — important updates are rarely shared in a timely manner, and questions or concerns often go unanswered or are brushed off even after discussion with management. I am not sure that the activities that were said to have been done were, as my child was picked up the last few weeks, sitting alone in the corner. The teachers barely acknowledged us at pickup. The lack of transparency made it very difficult to feel confident about my child’s daily care. Hygiene is another major issue. The facility and toys often had an abnormal smell in the upper classroom, and I noticed minimal effort to maintain proper sanitation practices. The infant classroom, in contrast, had been well maintained and never had the odd odor. This was especially concerning in an environment where children are constantly in close contact and germs spread easily. Even more concerning, several staff members themselves appeared unhygienic, which only added to my discomfort about the standards of care being provided when my child came home smelling of body odor so profound that they had to be bathed immediately after 2-3 hours in the class. On top of that, I found the overall professionalism of the staff disappointing. Interactions frequently came across as dismissive and unorganized, and there seemed to be little accountability when concerns were raised. Specifically, putting 6-month-olds regularly in front of video screens. Management declined to acknowledge it directly, even after I personally walked in on it multiple times. A daycare should provide not only a safe and clean environment but also clear, respectful communication with families — unfortunately, this one fell short in all those areas.

We LOVE Primrose Riverwoods! We moved back to AL about 4 years ago and I toured several preschools in the area and the minute I walked into Primrose I knew that’d be the best place for my kiddos! Ms. Kadie, Ms. Amber and Ms. Heather along with the owners David and Kim are wonderful. They’re always welcoming and my kids feel at home there. My oldest son was more than prepared for kindergarten and my youngest is in pre-k now and I am confident he will be prepared for kindergarten as well. My husband and I are very happy with Primrose and know our boys are well cared for and loved!

I can't say enough good things about Primrose Daycare in Helena! From the moment we walked in, I felt confident that my children would be in great hands. The teachers and staff are absolutely amazing — they are kind, attentive, and genuinely care about the kids. It’s clear that they’re not just doing a job, but are passionate about nurturing and teaching. David, the owner, is incredibly involved, and you can tell he truly cares about each child’s well-being and development. It’s rare to see an owner so hands-on and dedicated. The environment is warm, welcoming, and feels like a second home to my kids. They absolutely love going there every day, and that’s the best endorsement I could give. Highly recommend Primrose Daycare to any parent looking for a place that treats their children like family!

Primrose School of Riverwoods is wonderful. All of the staff are great. They take really good care of my child. They make me feel comfortable leaving my child in their care. The app is great and is updated and monitored constantly throughout the day. If I ever have a concern the staff listens and addresses it quickly. I would definitely recommend Primrose to any family looking for reliable and safe childcare.

Love Primrose School of Riverwoods! Wonderful staff who takes good care of my child. It's positive and nurturing environment brings comfort to my anxious first-time mom mind. Questions are answered quickly and concerns/issued resolved. I'm grateful for consistent status of activities/actions, messages, and photos to keep me updated with how my child is doing.
