I can't say enough wonderful things about Primrose School in downtown Columbus! My son started there at 4 months and we had an incredible experience and only left because we moved. Shannon & Ariel are so warm and inviting and excellent communicators. The teachers are absolutely fantastic—kind, attentive, and truly passionate about what they do. They made such a personal connection with my son, and I could see how much he enjoyed being there each day. My sons main teacher, Mrs Hubbard is a true baby whisperer. The facility is clean, safe, and filled with engaging activities that helped my son develop new skills even at such a young age. I loved the open communication from the teachers; they kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and detailed reports, which really put my mind at ease as a parent. Primrose provided such a loving and nurturing environment for my little one. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care they provided and the special bond they created with my son. I would highly recommend Primrose to any parent looking for a caring, high-quality early education experience!
Primrose downtown is an excellent child care institution. The care and attention to detail my children receive here are so appreciated. My son is potty training and he has gotten so much better with going to the potty and eliminating accidents since attending this school. The staff is always available to answer any questions and never make you feel like you are bothering anyone.
I love this location specifically for the support of the team. I have experienced other Primrose locations and the attention to the curriculum, organization of the classes and schedule, and overall attitude of the teachers and support staff at Primrose Downtown makes me confident to bring my son to school every day. No one likes to be away from their child for such extended periods, but I fully believe that the teachers are adding to my son's education base in ways that I could not and are setting him up to learn well and be kind, outgoing, and attentive as he moves through life.
Our experience with Primrose was wonderful. From the very first day, I felt comfortable leaving my infant in their care. Shannon and the entire staff were warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to creating a nurturing environment. My little one loved his time there—whether it was story time, play activities, or napping. I was always impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities and the engaging daily activities tailored to my son's age and interests. The caregivers consistently went above and beyond, providing updates, sharing photos, and ensuring that my baby’s milestones were celebrated. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about the children and their growth. Watching my infant smile each morning upon arrival told me everything I needed to know about how happy they were there. I couldn't recommend Primrose more highly for parents who are looking for a safe, loving, and stimulating place for their little ones.
Great teachers, great staff. Very communicative with parents about any issues. They engage with the kids and challenge the kids educationally and do regular fun activities with them (Gator Dave, Kona Ice Day, Splash Days during the summer, etc.) - highly recommend!
