Warning: 3-Year Waitlist means nothing here. Prospective parents should be aware that enrollment here isn't based on how long you've waited, but on a 6:30 PM Sunday "click race." We spent three years on their list, only to be denied admission because we weren't among the first 10 people to click a button. Receiving this news the night before UPK applications were due was devastating. Management showed zero empathy and offered no alternatives. It’s a selfish, disorganized system that disregards the needs of working families. Do yourself a favor and find a school that treats its applicants with basic respect. Look for a school that values its community—not one that treats your child's future like a lottery.
I love this school. The amount of work it takes to keep this place open and running smoothly is unfathomable and thanks to the owners and the stellar leadership team, our experience with our 2 little ones (including navigating Covid) has been wonderful. Primrose at Colorado Station is a place for working parents. When we started looking for daycares we were shocked at how many days off we would have to manage at most centers and the limited hours of operation. We chose this school for the wonderful hours and consistent care and that’s exactly what we have received. Yes, there is some turnover with teachers, and yes, my little ones got sick. I 100% expect both of those challenges from any daycare. However the level of communication from the leadership team keeps me feeling as stress-free as one can be in these situations. And most incredibly, the kindness and sweetness of these teachers makes me tear up with gratitude. Don’t believe the negativity I see from some reviews; this is a place to keep your kiddos safe and happy!
My parents were both career educators. Growing up watching them teach (and having them as teachers) it was apparent that they genuinely loved what they did for work, believed in it, and "showed up" each day, even (and perhaps especially) on the days when their hearts may not have been all the way in it. That same authentic level of enjoyment, care, dedication, and professionalism that I saw in my parents is on display every day at Primrose Colorado Station. Our daughter is coming up on her 1 year anniversary at Primrose and in that time she's changed peer groups, classrooms, and teachers. Not once have these changes diminished her desire to return to school every day. I think that speaks volumes to the environment, culture, and experience that the ownership and staff of Primrose Colorado Station curate through their devotion to what they do, and her love for school is about the highest compliment/endorsement a child (or parent) could offer.
Between our two children we spent six years at PSCS and wish the school had a kindergarten program to extend that streak. Everyone on staff genuinely cares about the kids and our children were certainly fond of them. On the rare occasion when an issue arose, everyone from the teachers to the leadership/owners were invested in getting it resolved. We could not have asked for a better environment to prepare our children for their next chapter in life.
We have had the best experience at primrose with my toddler for the last 2 years and now my infant is there as well.
