Primrose has truly been a blessing for our family. We had a lot of anxiety about trusting others with our son, but Primrose has shown us that he is in wonderful hands. The teachers and staff are amazing, and we are so thankful for the care, love, and education they provide. We couldn’t ask for a better school.
We have had such a wonderful experience this year with our daughter in the PS2 class. Ms. Dooley and Ms. Stidham are truly exceptional teachers. They are patient and so genuinely invested in the children. They create a warm, structured, and nurturing environment where the kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. It’s clear how much thought and care goes into their daily activities and communication, and it means so much to know our child truly enjoys school!
We have had nothing but great experiences with Primrose. Every teacher our son has had since an infant has been amazing and they have all given us peace of mind that our son is in great hands. Currently Ms.Moore and Ms.McGlamery go above and beyond taking care of our son and he loves going to school each morning. I greatly appreciate their attention to care and their passion for teaching. Any issues I've had over the last two years, leadership has been available and open for discussion. The transfer of ownership has so far been a seamless transition.
We’ve been with Primrose for a little over two years, and overall it has been a very positive experience for our son. The facility is exceptionally clean and feels more like a school than a traditional daycare — the classrooms, organization, and overall layout really stand out. Staff turnover is very low and the teachers my son has had have all been friendly, attentive, and engaged. They also follow a structured curriculum that truly supports learning and development. Before choosing Primrose, we toured several other daycares. Although Primrose costs about $500 more per month than many of the other options, we felt the difference was justified by the infrastructure, cleanliness, and overall quality of the facility and program. It’s also an easy access to highway through Dominion Blvd toll bridge which made drop-offs and pick-ups easier. The main downsides are that they close for several days throughout the year more often than many other daycares we considered — and we do wish they stayed open until 6 p.m. instead of closing at 530pm. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, we’ve had a great experience and feel that Primrose has been great
I truly believe that my son receives genuine support and care at Primrose. Ms. Blust and the Young Toddler team treat him like family. He was a late walker due to having a club foot and his teachers were so helpful when he was in orthopedic boots and bar. They played a big part in him learning to walk on his own. I love the artwork and projects that he comes home with too.
