We have had the best experience at Paper Moon North Early Learning Center! Our little guy started in December. The center has worked diligently to make our transition from home to daycare as seamless as possible. Everyone from owners to all of the staff members and care givers know my little one's name. They always make us feel welcome at pick up and drop off. The facilities are clean, bright and child centered. We love it here!
We've been at Paper Moon since the day my daughter turned 2, about 6 months now. She absolutely LOVES her friends and the staff at Paper Moon ELC. Miss Meghan and Miss Marley love my little girl and I can tell in the way they care for her and her classmates. The growth she's had in her speech, proprioception, appetite, and potty training is more than I could have done alone at home. She looks forward to school every single day and we couldn't be more grateful for the small, tight-knit family that Paper Moon as made us such a part of!
Paper moon is a fabulous locally owned preschool. Deep Rooted in education and fun they give your child the best experience and early education start! Would recommended 10/10 to anyone!
My experience here started great but now I’m looking at moving my child to a different childcare facility. They opened a second location and brought on all new staff and I’m not impressed. My child is getting hurt on a consistent basis with no explanation or mention of the injuries, we have to play spot the injuries in the bath to make sure I don’t accidentally scrub a sore spot too hard. She’s now on teacher number 4 after only having started recently and I have no way to contact anyone to find out why it is that any of what’s been happening is ok. Overall I just can’t say I recommend them anymore.
I’m rating them as a 2 because they do have great academics for children but other than that i wouldn’t recommend this child care center. The teachers want to be paid 200 plus a week but the kids have to do everything themselves. My child was four and expected to learn how to tie his shoes already. They believe to force children to eat foods they do not like. And they use food as a way of punishment if a child doesn’t do or say what they want them to. My child was recently kicked out for me reporting a complaint and having it investigated for using food as a form of punishment (which is against MO law) which wasn’t no hair off our backs we figured it was coming because that’s just how childish acting the facility and the teachers are here! My child was forced to sit around the classroom and watch other children receive food and snacks around him while he had to sit and watch because something they didn’t like earlier in the day!
