This facility is incredible and I’m glad to call it my home gym. I use the weight lifting room, cardio equipment, and indoor/outdoor pool regularly. The strength training equipment is abundant and evenly spaced with plenty of squat racks, machines, and floor space to accommodate varying crowds. The cardio room was just recently updated and all the equipment is so nice to use! I’ve been loving the new treadmills. The indoor pool is often being used for programs. The outdoor pool is the perfect temperature with a great view of the surrounding palms and lounge chairs for a comfortable and luxurious swim experience. I really love and appreciate the Masters Swim program here too. Overall, this is an amazing resource for anyone of any fitness level or interest and my favorite Y location in SD!
I would like to say thank you to all the team there at the YMCA I remember my kids use to do the after school program in San ysidro I had the chance to stop in and get a day pass and get a work out. I would recommend this place to many people out there. So stop in and check it out I'm sure you'll be satisfied
I had my friend drive me 20 minutes to visit this YMCA since the hours said they closed at 8pm. She dropped me off at 6:45pm and we agreed that she would pick me up around 8pm, after her massage. When I checked-in the staff informed me that they had prematurely updated their hours and they actually close at 7pm. So I had to find a way to kill an hour after the gym closed. I ended up spending $15 to take an uber to the nearby Marriott where I waited for her. It was miserable. I heard another guest on the workout flow react in surprise when she was informed of the early closure.
Good facilities but not the friendliest - fun pickleball group but staff often cuts hours for other things - love the egym however there is a sign in the room saying that staff gets to pick the music for their well being so bring headsets if you don’t like things like rap
Great gym ir should I say fitness centre There are approximately more than 15 swimming lines one indoor pool and another outdoor pool, an indoor basket field, two big group classes, a cardio room, stretching room, weight room, a spinning room. You yes you can entertain yourself in here and they have really affordable prices too. I tried the free 2 days per year the they offer and I fell in love with it. There are two parking lots too
