What Parents Say
Prime Time Day Care has mostly positive reviews highlighting a family-oriented environment with caring, welcoming staff where children are happy and feel at home. However, there are serious concerns from two parents about inappropriate handling of challenging situations, including discriminatory treatment of a special-needs child and harmful disciplinary practices.
I started sending my son here when he was 9 weeks old (he’s almost 4 now) As a first time mom i didn’t want to leave him at all. After the first month i felt like i was leaving him with family. I love how this school is family oriented and you can tell all the staff really loves your child.
I would’ve had a really nice review for this place until the owner found out that my son was special-needs and basically told me that one of her employees had to run and hide from my two year old son And that to me is really absurd and they should be ashamed of themselves for saying something like that especially the owner. They basically gave my son the boot from this daycare because they felt it just wasn’t working out because they couldn’t handle him last time I checked daycare‘s just can’t kick kids out because it’s not working for them. We Just felt completely unwanted and always complained that my son was nonverbal and screamed and truthfully makes me feel bad for their children if God for bid they ever have autistic or nonverbal children with special needs. Extremely furious mom here.
My daughter loves it here. She loves her teachers & friends she has made there. I don't trust many people with my child, I can honestly say I know that she's in good hands with the staff at Prime! You guys are awesome!
I went here in 2007-08?... and I had a bad experience. For some reason, half of the class was not allowed to play at recess one day... and I was crying because I was like 3 or 4. So, the teacher tells everyone to move away from me... (singling me out.) Eventually, everyone gets to play except for me because I'm crying. Then, I get put inside where I'm forced to hold in my tears because I'm in the room woth the sleeping babies! I have not been able to unpack the effect this has had on me later in life but I think it has caused me emotional damage. Then, at my sister's graduation the teacher said hi to me as if nothing happened? Well, something happened, Miss Lorraine, and you may have forgotten, but I have NOT.
Couldn’t be happier! Every day my child happily walks into school and comes home excited to talk all about the day. What more could you ask for? The staff is friendly, welcoming and down to earth. Great job Prime Time!
