What Parents Say
Primary Colors Learning Center receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from most parents, with praise for caring teachers, educational curriculum, cleanliness, and child development outcomes. However, a small number of parents report concerns about leadership/management decisions, including enrollment termination, billing practices, and perceived lack of flexibility with behavioral or developmental challenges.
First time mom, and I was so scared to send my 12 month son at the time to any kind of center or daycare. But let me say, this was the BEST decision for him. He has so much fun, they are so transparent with everything that goes on, the teachers are amazing, and it’s a no screen facility. He loves going there. We love it.
They got great teachers there but person in charge is terrible. My credit card was hacked and we told them what was going on still charge us late fee. We still gave them credit card info on time but they still dinged us like 2-3 days before due date but still don’t care still charged us late fee. She threatened kick my other friends kid out cause he wasn’t fully poddy trained at 3. Instead of trying to work with him they just sent him home said yall need take him for week until he’s poddy trained. Way more other things I know but it’s very poor leadership at this place. I feel sorry for teachers there cause they got some good ones.
All three of our children have attended Primary Colors for daycare and preschool. Our kids loved going to school each day and enjoyed learning and playing! Our kids came out of this program reading and we’re more than prepared for kindergarten. It made transitions into big school easy and gave each of our kids the confidence and a love for school! Our kids have always felt safe and well cared for. For example, there were several occasions back when Ms. Wanda ran the infant room she would catch an ear infection in my babies before I noticed! My kids were always loved on and I felt good about them going to school. I’m grateful that there has always been open and honest communication. All of the teachers have been friendly and helpful. It is obvious that the number one concern is the love, care, and needs of each student which although at times can be hard to hear for a parent, is only for the best interest of the child/student. I highly recommend this program as we have had a wonderful experience!
My son has been attending the Primary Colors in Slidell for the last 2 years and for the entirety of that time, he has not had stability in a teacher. There was constant turnover to the point I never knew the name of the person in his class when I would drop off or pick-up. Fast forward to this year, my son had an incident in his class whe he got a significant gash over his eye and his glasses were broken. I asked to see the cameras and they told me that they did not work. When I asked why we weren't informed, they said that they didn't have to, they were a courtesy, though they advertise cameras. Now we are in May and on a Wednesday night, parents and teachers are sent the same message via the app and told they are closing permanently. They are not communicating when we can collect our children's things and are not responding. It's heartbreaking that they didn't even care enough about their own staff to inform them separately. We even saw teachers show up for work only to find out by the sign on the door. How can you trust your most precious treasure with this owner. They have had some amazing teachers and I hope they land somewhere much better.
My daughter has been attending Primary Colors in Covington since she was 12 weeks old and she has loved every minute of it. All the staff is very friendly and sweet! The school is always clean. We love it and plan to send our next one there.
