Both of my boys attended Primanti Montessori Academy, and while Rooms 2 and 3 had several good teachers, our experience was ultimately overshadowed by serious issues with the administration and with Room 4 teachers, where the problems began. In Room 4, we received multiple incident reports that later turned out to be incomplete once I reviewed the video footage. When I asked for the reports to be corrected to reflect what actually happened, the school refused and instead gathered previous reports to use against my four-year-old. The lack of transparency and consistency was extremely concerning. The administration also implied multiple times that something was wrong with my son and encouraged repeated evaluations. I followed through, and every professional evaluation confirmed he was perfectly fine. Based on my experience, it felt as though energetic, curious boys were being singled out. I was even told my son could return if he had an ABA aide because he would no longer count toward their 1:12 ratio, that was something that made me very uncomfortable as a parent. During this time, Ms. Guzman was acting as the director, and it was clear she was functioning as a middle person without the authority or clarity needed to resolve the situation. We repeatedly requested to speak with Mrs. Peralta, but she refused to speak by phone, only communicated through email, and declined every attempt to meet in person even after she returned from her vacation . A meeting with the owner was also requested multiple times to Mrs Peralta as well as Mrs. Guzman but never granted . After we left the school, several teachers privately reached out to me, expressing that they were aware the situation we experienced was not okay. Hearing that confirmed that what we went through was valid and something is not ok. After speaking with other parents, I learned that similar concerns especially involving boys of this age. While there are genuinely great teachers here, the way administration handled communication, accountability, and parent concerns made it impossible for us to stay. Families deserve honesty, collaboration, and leadership that supports both children and parents. Unfortunately, I would never recommend this school to any family.

My daughter absolutely loves this school. She’s been attending since she was 2.5. She adores her preschool teachers and has made many friends here. The teachers are patient and kind hearted as well. She is only 5 but is already reading chapter books and writing complete sentences. The school is very clean with lots of natural sunlight coming in. The playground is HUGE and very private with absolutely zero visibility from the street or neighbors which I really appreciate.

I have my two boys here for a few years now. My 4 year old has been here since he was 2 years old. His speech was delayed and was having trouble learning at home. He is THRIVING NOW! My 9 year old has been coming here since he was 3.I believe he’s very intelligent for his age. I can’t imagine ever putting them in public school. The teachers and staff are wonderful.

I am so happy and confident she is well taken care of! My baby girl is always excited to go to daycare and stays with a big smile! She started at 5 months old and soon will transition to Toddlers class

I don’t commonly leave reviews, but I had to share this story to help another parent and baby. (At least for infancy stage. ) The lead teacher and principal were extremely friendly and apologetic with the numerous incidents. However,my infant suffered multiple incidents of bruises to her face, bite marks on her finger, constant diaper rashes even tho they have a system to check diapers every 30 mins. I’m not sure if they really do this or just sign off on it. (She rarely ever get diaper rashes under my care or at her new daycare. So this is NOT NORMAL.) One time, she would come home crying during the whole drive home to find out that the diaper was placed on tightly and instead of the sides being around her butt cheek, it was IN BETWEEN HER BUTT CRACK. It did not slide that way, it was negligence. Another incident, they did not discard her refused bottle, so she could have mistakenly be given that expired milk. During pickup, I also found an elastic hairband in my baby’s mouth being tossed around because a teacher was playing with infants hairs and possibly dropped it on the floor or as they said, my baby may have pulled it from another baby’s head. This is a classroom with infants who barely have hair to begin with.I was grateful to find care so I can go back to work. Upon addressing one furious incident after another, I justified to myself this is normal because they have their hands full. Until I experienced none of this while at her new daycare. I’m just trying to help another parent out with true incidents to help another parent decide if this is the right place for your baby.
